Kid ranks near top of class with a GPA of 0.13 lmao

lol a GPA of 0.13 and he ranks near top of class

what makes this story worst is the mom blaming others for her child. How you going to blame someone if your child has been absent over 200+ times lol

These people are actual Americans with American benefits and this crap happens.

I just saw a picture of a girl taking graduation pictures with her parents in the field with her parents worked just to make a better life for their daughter. Can we do a trade and have these hard working people and get rid of these people who always want to blame others?

The most destructive force on education is bad parenting. Kids are enabled by it and become equally horrid. I know from working as an educator about this first hand. These kids have to be accomodated, and they destroy the system for everyone. Its really that simple.

True story. I decided after many years to teach high school again in Baltimore. So in these training programs you get put with a class the later part of the program. I had these three girls in the class, and they were awful. They basically made it so three of us, myself and two others could not complete the program. The teacher was afraid of them, and the program would not look at the situation. That is the reality of the situation.

I agree on parenting, everyone failed this kid but parenting is the foundation

Nice man, I hear ya, and good for him. Had I had a chance to rewind, I wouldn't have went straight to college after high school, I would've went to a J.C first. No need to spend thousands for 2 years for the same bs you can get at a J.C. "It's all about that experience", f that lol

Ain't that a shame though that graduating high school is now just a pat on the back. I remember when my brother graduated in 97 he was actually the first of out of 20 grand children to graduate high school and it was a big thing. Some of my patients only went to high school and never went to college. Graduating high school back then actually meant something, today, it doesn't sadly.

I think colleges with a b.s/b.a degree may turn into this too if they continue to let kids in who shouldn't be there attend. Folks want free college yet the same thing will happen to colleges that happened to high school.

Life experience brother. I have boys that I need to turn into men and imo men shouldnt walk around looking for unwarranted hand outs.

I'm sure she assumes that once he "graduates" he'll be able to get a great job and sustain himself? Awful parenting.
