That is really the sad **** about the whole thing, I can't beleive EVEN I had started to forget about Quik. My boy from work brought a few CD's that his son had gotten from some station throwing CD's in the crowd of kids. He asked if I knew him DJ Quik?

I was like "are you ***in serious?"........... his kid got like 4 brand new unopened DJ Quik CD's, safe n sound, rhythmalism, way to fonky, under tha influence. His wife took them and didn't let them hear them, they are white. I was ***in jamming at work

Quik could spit. He had a slick track on the Menace to Society soundtrack I listened to the other day, tho I don't recall the name. Aside from those mentioned, Sweet Black ***** was a cool song too. Quik never did get a lotta shine tho.

Didn't he have some beef with MC Eiht? I think Eiht is a way harder rapper.

He doesn't deny having been a blood from treetop bloods. He ain't hood stuck like others... and his flow is more radio freindly because he makes his own beats.
