Do you think DJ Quik is under rated?

I have been remembering a lot of stuff from when I was growing up, and noticed that I have under rated Quik as one of my favs. I never would have said that his music is the ****. But Today I was doing a lot of thinking, and I REALLY think that him and Suga Free are extremely Under Rated in the game on an ATG level.

I just wanted to make this thread and acknowledge his work.

well, he didnt exactly write all of his material. but he has some very good stuff. i have the "born n raised in compton" mix on my zen vision m.

Quik could spit. He had a slick track on the Menace to Society soundtrack I listened to the other day, tho I don't recall the name. Aside from those mentioned, Sweet Black ***** was a cool song too. Quik never did get a lotta shine tho.
