I think I have only seen Chelsea win once in a penalty shootout in my entire life.

And it was a against a German team on their home ground in a European Cup after we got ****ed.

Football doesn't make a shred of sense.

Apart from England taking a penalties. We know they'll lose. They shouldn't even bother.

We have that 'if he has the balls to take it let him take it' mentality. Consequently, you get a ****ing bum like Carragher or David Batty taking a penalty.

    ******ed.

Let your players who strike the ball purely take penalties even if their shaking like a shitting dog.

Holland played very negatively in that game (passing around at the back instead of heading forward and looking for goals). It's as if they're pleased just to make it to the semi-finals - a real lack of ambition or confidence. Also, their performances have been getting worse throughout the tournament (5-1 against Spain, 2-0 against Chile, 2-1 against Mexico, and penalties against Costa Rica).

I disagree about Robben. An athlete's prime is between 25-30. Muscle mass peaks at 25 and doesn't start declining until after 30. Robben is still in his prime.

Germany are Europe's best chance. I can't stand the idea of a flopfest final between Brazil and Agentina.

total BS. it depends on the athlete, the sport.

mike tyson was at his physical peak in his late teens.

lennox lewis didn't fill out until his late 20's and early 30's. same with lord wilder.
