I would probably take Torres tbh. We should have signed him before Liverpool got him, would have been perfect for us. Chelsea suck the life out of great strikers though so I don't know if he'll ever be able to get his confidence back.

He is also too much of a ***** to play for team like Chelsea where it is cut throat.

Chelsea really should have sacked him by now.

I know it has never been done in the history of football but we should have done it. At the very least someone should have drugged him and then tested him and then we could have sacked him and got compensation.

I say this slightly tongue cheek but on the other hand the moment he missed that open goal against Man U. If he was horse they would have taken him out the back and shot him in the face.

Am i the only one that doesn't think Giroud is all that bad? Granted, i don't follow Arsenal, but whenever i do see him play he doesn't seem as bad as i read on here.

I just think he's made a scapegoat at the fact Wenger did not bring in a quality striker to play off, or to compete with, burning him out in the process.

We don't cross the ball and when we do, out deliveries are usually poor. I would seriously support scrapping corners because we never score from them.

His form has suffered cause your manager brought an injured midfielder instead of a decent striker to take the pressure/workload of Giroud..

That's laughable coming from a fan who wants to oust his teams manager without given him a season to settle in.

I've seen every Arsenal game this season and I can safely say without a shadow of a doubt that Giroud is distinctly average and shouldn't be an Arsenal player let alone be relied upon as a starter week in week out.

Playing in his second full season in front of one of the best midfields in Europe and he has 13 goals in 29 prem games and none against the top teams. In all honestly I don't really care about the stats. When I watch him play he just does so many things that make me scratch my head. He is no way near good enough and never has been.

Arsenal were winning games at the beginning of the season on Ramsey and Ozil's back. It had very little to do with Giroud.

Also Torres is broke because of Chelsea. He had to play a different way and still has to play a different way than what he originally played.

We can say he is slower blah blah. Fact is. Coming to chelsea he had to play back to goal, ball at feet, in the field of play.

At Liverpool he just ran off the back shoulder and got a lot of space up front to run onto through passes.

He doesn't do that anymore and even mentally. The way he approaches playing, he has to come into the field of play with Chelsea. If he stays up top trying to make runs in behind. He either has no space to do so(in the box) or never gets the killer pass.

Torres isn't without faults he ****s up often but take a player like Benteke and tell him to be Suarez and you'll get a fcked up product.
