Am i the only one that doesn't think Giroud is all that bad? Granted, i don't follow Arsenal, but whenever i do see him play he doesn't seem as bad as i read on here.

I just think he's made a scapegoat at the fact Wenger did not bring in a quality striker to play off, or to compete with, burning him out in the process.

He isn't bad. He isn't an elite level striker though. Back in the day we had Henry, Bergkamp, Kanu and Wiltord as our 4 strikers. Would I have Giroud ahead of any of them? Probably not.

He should be more of a plan B striker instead of our one and only option.

Can see him bullying the both of them easily, really got a bad feeling about this one.

Would maybe start Sakho instead of Agger, although not sure i would wanna disrupt the defence which has been shockingly quite decent last couple of games.

Much lesser players than Andy Carroll have bullied Agger and Skrtel for fun in the past, plus he's gonna play with a point to prove, i can see it ending badly.

Liked Andy Carroll when we had him, hated Downing.

Probably fear this game more than the two big ones at home against City and Chelsea.

I would probably take Torres tbh. We should have signed him before Liverpool got him, would have been perfect for us. Chelsea suck the life out of great strikers though so I don't know if he'll ever be able to get his confidence back.
