The frighten thing about Messi for me is the fact that he's only still 22, I didnt even think he did a lot last night apart from the way he took his goals, I have seen him in better games where he didnt score 3 or 4 goals. If the argentina team can build there play up around Messi then he can have the same influence that Maradona had in the 80's, He has the same skills as Maradona but he just hasnt been able to do what maradona did for argentina yet.

Messi is unreal, Barca are unreal.
The thing that's so bad about Barca is that to stop Messi you have to put about 3 guys on him and even then he can still get past you. But even if you do manage to stop Messi then you got other guys who can punish you just as bad. It's beautiful football to watch but when your team draws them it really feels like there is no chance.
I'm not sure about Bayern tonight, from the reports i've heard today Rooney has been training secretly and is being readied as a 2nd half super sub. O'shea is back but Rafael will probabaly start at RB, Carrick and Nani will be replacing the oldies.
Hargreaves should be on the bench too and Macheda is likely to start with Dimitar.
Bayern are a good side, i saw them beat Shalke in a title decider in their most recent game and they keep possession very well. We have trouble with teams that can pass the ball well and keep possession.

This is why Bendy will never be an Arsenal player, he is not much, if at all, better than Peter Crouch, Bendy's touch makes Crouch's look Bergkamp esque.

but the difference between them is that Drogba can use his assets to make his own chances and spank one in from 20 yards, Bendy is just a head on a stick that relies on service, now call me a **** but a guy who is as physically gifted like Bendy should be utilizing his assets like Drogba and putting himself about making his own chances aswell, not just relying on service from others (crosses etc), that negates the physical presence he brings imo.

Hes scored important goals for arsenal, the fans can complain all they want but its not like hes had the greatest team to play with since all the injuries came in
And Peter Crouch has some crazy technique considering the size of the guy, you would think he would just be uncoordinated...but hes actually very good

Abit like When Arshavin scored 4 goals against liverpool....he wasnt in the game AT ALL....but every single chance he got, he scored...and they were amazing finishes... and he saved the best for last

I dont think its harsh at all, Bendy is a prospect because he is young, not because he is particularly talented. There is no shame in that but what is the point of going to the trouble of developing a guy whom will most likely always be a squad player, looking at Bendy right now its clear he does not have the skillset to reach to the level where he will be a regular starter upfront so why waste time and effort when you could be developing a real talent with the skill to hit those heights, it just makes no sense to me.
Kevin Phillips would score the goals Bendy has put away, probably more so infact.
