Rooney scored 15-20 goals a season pretty much since he has been at United the reason he hasn't looked as good/scored as much was because Ferguson made his side play around its best player (ronaldo). Now Ronaldo left Rooney is the player the team plays around, when a striker gets shunted out too the left sure he wont look as good as he can be.

If he wasn't as consistant that was more the reason, which is no problem Ronaldo was the best player in the world (bar possibly Messi) and it reaped fantastic results for United. Also the fact that Ferguson for some reason brought Berbatov didn't really help Rooney and had him pushed out too the wing even more often.

I think i was the only person in the world saying nani is a good player, but to be honest, he does anoy me abit, he can spark something which is great....but hes so inconsistent, not just over a period of a few games, but literally during a game.... He will keep losing the ball, or his crosses will be poor...then he will do a skill past 2 players, and a perfect cross and we have a goal....

Hes still young, and can become a much better player, he has a nice shot on him, although we havnt seen one in a while...probably since the Charity shield? from what i can remember

The situation maybe similar (them not playing at there peaks) but i don't think Nasri is on a level were Wenger would believe he is good enough to build a team round, i could be wrong though.
