£105 million is crazy money, apparently that's including a player as well. The worst part is it seems like it's not just paper bollocks anymore and it's actually happening!

As much as i rate Bale he's not worth anywhere near that considering Ronaldo went for £80 million and he was better than Bale is now when he left United. Wenger just came out and said he's amazed because it's making a complete mockery of Financial Fair Play which is coming into effect this season.

IMO they should just sell him because it's obvious he wants to go and take either Coentrao for LB or Di Maria for the wing. Reports saying they want Alvaro Morata but i don't think Real want to let him go. Then they just need to invest the rest of the money smartly and they might be able to challenge for fourth place.

If i were Spurs.. sell bale for 40-50m and take Modric AND Di Maria

Bale is OVERATED IMO.. Modric/Maria and Solado are proven quality + the addition of Paulinho.. Spurs will be stronger then if they had just Bale..

Bales price will not go any higher.. they should sell now before he loses form or gets injured (which he does a lot)

I don't think Modric will want to go back, that would be a huge fail on his part as he would be labelled a flop after making the step up to Madrid. Plus he's too good for Spurs imo, if he ever leaves it will be to a top team in the Champions League. He would be a perfect fit in United's midfield.

At the moment it seems like Ronaldo is staying so i'm not sure whether that's going to change or not when they inevitably get Bale, it seems like they are just going to spend loads of money on Bale and have both.

Bale is a proven player. He's not a hundred million pounds proven player though. I'd pay 45 for him maybe. Spurs could buy the striker they've needed for years with that money as well as strengthen every area and replace Bale on the wing.
