Bale is not a cut inside winger. He started out on the left wing, now he is being played just behind the striker in a free to do what he wants No. 10 role, Lennon has always occupied Spurs right wing for most of the game. Sometimes they switch wings but it's very rare because Lennon is not good on the other side. Most of Bale's goals come from running through the middle.

Bale is not Adam Johnson btw he is not just winger he doesn't even play on the wing anymore, plus most of the time he shoots it seems to go in. He is a complete player and can hit free kicks at a high conversion rate, score with both feet, **** in headers and has the pace and power to beat a man and set up others for goals. I don't see the problem everyone seems to have, what he is doing is working and he's looking impressive whilst doing it.

Watch his goals from last season, there's next to no ''inverted winger'' goals, most of them come from free kicks, running through the middle or from inside the box. Please stop labelling him a ''twat it and hope winger'' and actually watch him play.

The problem with a statement like "most of the the time he shoots it seems to go in" is that it simply isn't true. His shot to goal percentage is about 12%.

He isn't a complete player, nothing like it. All you've done is listed different goalscoring attributes. How many goals did he set up in the league last year? 3? People say the same thing about C.Ronaldo and it's bollocks. To be a 'complete player' you have to also be a great creator for others, which Bale is not. He has no guile, no vision.

The point people were making was that it isn't about him 'looking impressive', it's when it gets to a point where the strikers suffer where he becomes a problem.

A 50m+ player he is not.
