Hernandez is the easiest player to mark out of a game, ever. Unless the ball is in the 6 yard box you might as well be playing with a plank of wood in his place. Worst link up man ever.

Don't really know. He got a bad injury while he was on loan at Wigan so didn't really get a chance to play. Looks a bit lightweight. Needs another loan, he's not getting anywhere near the first team at the moment.

By 'destroyed' you mean he had 1 touch in 90 minutes, from 4 yards out.

Put Dzeko in a United system with wingers that actually put the ball in the box and he'd score over 20 in the league every year. He's played in a massively unsuitable system for 3 years and he's still got his fair share of goals playing in an intricate passing system.

I didn't compare him to Bergkamp. I'm just pointing out how stats are misleading 99% of the time.

Chicharito stats aren't misleading. I would love to know how many of those goals he scored were winners or leveled the match.

I'd say a good 80% of them.

He's not a bum like Vela was in Arsenal, whom would only score when Arsenal were winning 4 or 5-0.

Chicharito gets results. That's what matters. His goal scoring record for Mexico is better than Messi's for Argentina. Says it all.

I don't remember Hernandez ever doing anything against us either. He gets talked about far too much in this thread for such a ho-hum player. I can't remember ever discussing him with mates at the pub but the Yank influence on this thread is sickening.

I'm not responding to the Aguero one because him and emz are taking the piss. But he's serious about Dzeko I think.

We're gonna get both I think. I'm so-so on Negredo, he'll do a job and get a few goals but I'd much rather have just kept the far better footballer in Balotelli.

I'm happy with Jovetic, I think he has bags of ability. Don't think we'll actually play him up top though, think he might play left side if we go 4-2-3-1.
