Mate, tbh you're in a no win situation at the moment, even if you win it's going to be oh you're still 12 points behind

I remember Arsenal's invincibles season when we battered them to a 1-1 draw () at highbury the arsenal fans just kept asking what the points difference is. Didn't half get on my ****.

I got city to pull out a close win tonight. They are going to be fired up.

I think a lot will depend on the first 20-30 mins. City will come out quick imo and if they get a goal in that period i see them winning. If not then i think momentum swings to United!

Would be surprised if City came out quick. More often than not United are very good starters in the big games at home.

                  I reckon it'll end a draw, both teams scoring, 1 - 1.

9/1 for Van Persie & Aguero to score.

I haven't read the last few pages so apologies if you've already discussed it but what are your thoughts on Rafa now pal after the recent good form?
I don't think he is a very good manager in respect of game management and will often make nothing subsitutions (Man U F.A Cup excepted). He is also really reactionary. He is the type that if you can bet your bottom dollar if Bale is fit against Chelsea he will leave out one of the three amigos to play either Bertrand and Ramires wide to stop him. I hate that to be fair. Chelsea shouldn't accommodate teams when our best players are attacking ones.

I think there is reason why Rafa does well against good teams because he can try and cancel them out and pick them off on the break.

I'll also defend his decision to play a weak team at Southampton in order to target trophies. Big teams are meant to win trophies. Of course, he wants to boost his C.V but I have no issue with that. I'm not too fussed about the league. Chelsea will have played 70 games this season, something had to give and it is going to be very hard for Chelsea to get in the top 4 imo, if it wasn't for the likelihood of a Spurs implosion.

I still don't think we should have employed him though. The CL was gone before he came in. RDM would have gotten us 3rd with ease and maybe nothing else but we could have replaced him with a big dog in the summer. Rafa is just all wrong for the squad of players we have, he has only recently realised for Chelsea to win he pretty much has to play Mata, Hazard and Oscar. We might get away with playing two but playing one and we're not winning that match whoever it is against (as evidenced by losing to QPR at home!).

I don't think he's done a very good job but this is the business end of the season and some of our players look like they're peaking (dare I say it! Even the lady herself Fernanda is looking like a player again), so he must be doing something right.

As always with Chelsea it all hinges on the next result. We lose 2-0 to Rubin Kazan and he is the worst manager alive again. I do admire that he doesn't give a **** though - the man has the skin of a rhino.

I think City will win tonight.

                      Pretty hollow though, imo.

I also can't see Chelsea winning that Cup Semi Final either.
