He is one of the best balanced players I have seen.

Even when it looks like someone has tackled him he can shift his weight and adjust and get it back. That sort of thing can't really be taught it's just there or it isn't.

I'm really confident he is going to be great. He is just too talented. I like players whose talents aren't physical. Apart from his balance, it's all skill and technique. Unlike someone like Lukaku who is quick and powerful and at times looks dangerous but he hasn't got much talent.

i think if RDM can mesh the team right. oscar will do fine. same with the other new faces.

but RDM's tactics recently has me confused. it's similar to avb with high pressing like a broom shape up the field but with no crossing. just a wall of people, meeting a wall of people. which clutters the box and kills our attack in the final 3rd.

but it's odd because we aren't even using a 433 and yet it still happens. i don't get it. makes our attack lack an edge. (since we aren't crossing for headers)

Lukaku has a lot to do with it - bless him, but even with those two goals he scored he has been really awful, that and the players aren't really explosive yet - a lot of running has been done with those legs.

I don't like Torres but he is still technically gifted enough to link up the play in final third. From what I've seen it's just a case of people not being prepared to run beyond the ball. Which is a fitness thing. It's a long way back if the move breaks down.

In a competitive game this will improve.

Got tickets for the Community Shield and Wigan (a)

£22 for a ticket on the halfway line at Wigan. Man, I love the North. At Chelsea that sort of ticket would be at least £70 odd quid.

I'm gutted Bolton, and Blackburn have gone down now. Could have went to all those games. Should be able to go to a lot away games this year anyway, Villa and Sunderland, too. I'm going to see more of Chelsea living in Manchester than in London.
