I am pretty nostalgic when it comes to footy, I always reminisce back at the 2002 world cup and even before that, when Rivaldo was my favorite player. When Real, Milan, Juventus, Barca all the attractive sides always won the CL, and they were also always star studded.

The evolution of football is something i think sucks. Because there are no Riquelme's, Zidane's, Ronaldinho's, Rivaldo's anymore.

Fletcher, Park, Valencia starting a Champions League final is a perfect example of how top football has changed IMO. Its all about running.

You make an interesting point there. Football has definently changed since then. I think its because of the death of the 4-4-2 formation.
