Dont get me wrong, Vela has talent, but I think Hernandez is the type of player that would suit us down to the ground.

Problem with Vela seems to be that he's completely lost his confidence. The Vela who was lobbing the GK against Sheffield Utd seems a far cry from the Vela of today, however I kind of blame Wenger for that, as Vela has not been given enough game time playing as a striker, I mean you could see how low Vela's confidence levels were when he played for Mexico in the WC.

You can see the talent he has, infact I would rather sell Bendy, recoup some money off his sale, and gradually give Vela and Theo a more prominent role as strikers, alternate them alongside RVP, although that would mean a change in system, which I dont know if that is likely to happen, although Wenger has said to Theo, he will get more game time as a striker, but he also made it clear, that Theo needs someone to play off, that he would not be able to operate alone upfront, so....

A question, does this make Koscielny a *****, does it speak volumes for Arsenal's lack of mental strength, or is it just one of those things that happens in the heat of battle? cause imo, any self respecting man would of got up and kick the **** of out Ferguson, or at least gripped him up, just shows what a ***** Kos is imo, and to think he's supposed to be our resistance when were under pressure, his mental strength appears to be as weak as his physical strength.

Hes not a bitch for that because his exacts thoughts were probably "I've just lost us the game" and he wouldn't have cared if Ferguson lit him up with an AK-47 at that moment in time.

He probably mistook it for someone just running past and catching him.

If an Arsenal player had done that there would have been an uproar and the player would have got a 3-4 game ban.

Vela hasn't been given a chance, only 29 games for Arsenal in 3 years since he was eligible to play in England.

But like Wilshere did at Bolton, Vela will prove himself and hopefully get a chance next season at a starting position.

Bendtner scored 11 goals in only 42 games for Birmingham but has only managed 22 goals in 93 games for Arsenal. 22 is usually whats expected from a striker every season.

Why? Because hes not good enough, but when playing against weak opposition, he scores lots (e.g. the Leyton Orient replay).

Last summer Arsenal badly needed a couple of world class centre backs. So what does Wenger do? Pay 7-8 mil for a french defender nobody has heard of from the French 2nd division and a 30 year old old mediocre french defender who couldn't even get into the Sevilla team. I really wonder about Wenger's way of thinking sometimes. 17-18 mil would have got us Gary Cahill and he is far better than any of our cenre backs. But no Wenger will probably pluck up another crap defender from the French leagues to try and look clever and prove everybody wrong.

He actually brings something different to the team though. Having different options upfront is good. Vela? he's Arshavin only not nearly as good.

Bit frustrating this Chelsea game, sort of glad I didn't go.

We are awful a pressing the ball and regaining possession.

I think we could duck below double figures for possession if we played Barcelona.
