In hindsight the ideal career trajectory for Rodgers after Swansea would’ve been Celtic, Leicester then Liverpool.

Despite the near miss in 13/14 it was too soon for him at Liverpool. Some of his decisions were flat out delusional. I realised he had lost the plot when he straight up played the b team against Real Madrid in the CL to ‘prioritise?the Chelsea game on the Saturday, which we ended up losing anyway and then got knocked out the CL group stage... smh.

If Brenda could turn Leon Britton into a player who had a season with higher passing percentage than Xavi at his peak, I don't see why Brenda couldn't have made Jorginho and that tiki-taka nonsense work. He even made Joe Allan who is basically an older Billy Gilmour from Wales.

Brenda would have been more pragmatic than Sarri's mythical football nonsense.

I just don't believe in Tuchel.

The man is like Brendan on crack. With Brendan, he'll try some absurd player positions like Emre Can at right back. But Brendan only did that because they were losing games and they had injuries.

Tuchel will play Pulisic as a wingback and actually did play him as a wingback at Dortmund.

Tuchel used like 9 different formations for PSG last season. Multiple times for all 9 formations.

He lives on tinkering. Brendan is a tinker man but Tuchel is the picture in the dictionary for tinker man.
As sweet I take it back.

I'd like Frank to get a chance to work through it. But I dunno. I just think if we squeak past Fulham on current form we get battered by Leicester.

So I dunno if Chelsea would take that.

I think I do count those trophies. Though not that highly.

And let's be honest his Liverpool team had some dross in it.

He's not gonna have John Flanagan in his starting line up or Kelly and he was a c.unt hair away from winning the league until we stopped him.

An Italian manager more than likely will come in and pick experienced pros and we are back to square one.

If Lamps loses his next 3 league games then I guess he goes but the main objective is surely to blood youngsters and augment it with what we hope is worldie talent and grow a team.

So I dunno. How bad would we have to get for him to get sacked. By normal Chelsea standards he would but I think even Roman has been around long enough to know now that one swallow doesnt make a summer. We were never gonna win the league this year.

Tbf Chelsea have already won everything. But we might as well try and win it all again a different way with 3/4 academy players in there week in week out.

A foreign manager will rightfully want to go strong and robust and keep his job.

But if Lamps gets sacked. Rodgers would mean we weren't throwing the bath out with the bath water.

        It would maintain an ethos.
No argument from me with poch there but no one is praising poch in here, you've had a thing for rodgers since I can remember. I guess it's the Chelsea connection but you'd think he was the Chelsea messiah how you talk of wanting him at Chelsea

Lampard is a rookie, let him learn on the job a bit and see how he goes imo. appointing a rookie and not giving him fair time is kinda pointless .

I've the strength of my own convictions.

I think the thing with Rodgers is I dont actually like him. But I just feel he is the right man.

We will see. If he did get it. Dont worry I would turn on him in a f.uckin heartbeat.

He's not Frank. He could relegate us and I would say nothing

But yeah Rodgers is just well thought of at Chelsea. Terry talks about how much he liked him.

Chelsea fans are ridiculous in this fashion, if their new signing isnt immediately incredable. they are labelled the worst player ever. remeber how Jorginho was exactly that, and by the end of the season didnt he get player of the year?

they should try being a spuds fan and enduring 3 years of Moussa Sissoko being one of the worst carthorses i have ever seen until he finally came good

I just don't see him as a coach a top team should be yearning for.

Espirto Santo would be my shout. Nothing too fancy about him but wolves are hard to beat and they never give in. He's no master tactician but he doesn't do weird chit a lot of the younger managers do like playing a left back in defensive mid. Seems like a good bloke too, not that it matters.

                  Jorginho is pretty unpopular.

I quite like him now. He is small and weak but he does his job

                    Kovacic got it. Not Jorginho.

I think people would've not hated Jorginho if Sarri wasn't a complete tool and refused to change anything.

Could've just put him side-by-side with Kante to protect him but then it wouldn't have been "Sarri's football".

Asinine manager. Even though, I have a su****ion that he'd probably be the ideal manager for this current team.

Just look at the players and the signings. They all look like mirror images of Sarri's Napoli. Right down to the midget front 3, the midfield 3, and backline. Hell even Zouma is just Koulibaly but 3 years younger.

Kovacic makes me doubt everything I thought I knew.

                      Great talent, f.ucking pointless player.

Really looking forward to this Manc derby
