Outside of a couple of United teams.. that Arsenal side is far and away the best team the PL has ever seen and will be remembered forever.

The Invincibles are widely regarded as the best team to ever play in England. People remember them because of the style of football they played as well as the fact that they did what no one has ever achieved even in the Petro-Dollars era.

No one gives a flying *** about that Man City team. The team that won the league last year was probably better.

It's a horrendously poor man's piss stained version of what Arsenal did at Anfield in 89. In fact, it's not even comparable at all. We went to the home of the champions on the final day needing to win by two clear goals and pulled it off.

I'd understand a United fan trying to talk about the Treble wining side - clearly they will be remembered. I don't think they played as beautifully as Arsenal and had their fair share of luck but they are actually a side that will go down in history.

That Arsenal side was brilliant, no doubt, but they're grossly overrated by their own fans (not surprisingly).

They routinely got their ass handed to them in Europe, and folded like the mental midgets they are when United shitted all over their 50 Not Out parade. They couldn't recover from that.

Ferguson knew that side was better than his and any he'd ever created. That's why he was forced to use those tactics against them. Gary Neville admits it to this day that United knew they couldn't win a football match against that side.
