I'm happy about Everton having another top half finish but gutted wwe never got into Europe.

Hopefully Moyes can get some players in during the summer and give us strength to finish higher next year.

Sadly i think it will be hard for Everton to make Europe for a bit.. Man United/Arsenal/Chelsea/City will probably make the top 4, Spurs will have extra cash and Liverpool will want to invest more. Then probably Aston Villa who have a better team right now i would say

dunno where you got 27m from, he was bought for 20m. liverpool spent 10m on johnson, the rest was owed to the club by portsmouth- who couldnt afford to pay it. This season the club made a profit- so yes they spent money they DID have. The players you named were only signed because of what the manager made by selling players. torres for example, was signed because the manager made 20m off selling 3 players! mascherano was signed because sissoko was sold to juventus. so hes had to weaken the team to strengthen it, that doesnt help. But the club hasnt been spending money it didnt have, thats wrong.

as for the 2nd bit, whats that got to do with the manager?
the stadium doesnt generate enough money, thats why a new one was meant to be made- but the owners ****ed that up. they dont have any money, and if you spend 15m per season you cant realistically be expected to challange when other teams around you are spending double what you are.

My review of Arsenal's season:

-Too many players lacking the mentality and experience to win a trophy.
-Too many passengers being paid 1st teamer wages and not stepping up (Walcott, Rosicky, Eduardo, Sagna, the ***g#t in my avatar etc)

The problem is that part of this fault lies with Wenger and his approach to management rather than the usual lack of money arguement. He doesn't have the tactical nous of a Mourinho or does he have the harden mentality that Fergie has to win something.

Yes, he could still not bridge the gap in the Prem either, he only came close last year because United had gotten worse, it was not so much about his much better Pool had become because they had virtually same team last year they had the year before, like i said they became more competitive because the top teams got worse, much how Arsenal had a sniff this year because those teams had got worse, not because Arsenal got significantly better.
