No thanks, I've watched a lot of rics videos in the past, there's some good info there but his videos are also full of bad info, some based on bad research and a lot of it just pure bro science.

You are talking about a field of "science" in nutrition that got recently punked by a hoax that chocolate helps you lose weight. In nutrition is buyer beware, its one of the softest of the supposedly hard sciences.

Don't confuse nutrition with hard sciences. Its a very pseudo-science field.

This is what I've been putting in my smoothies and they turn out pretty good.

                  - 1/2 cup frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
                  - 1/2 cup frozen mango, papaya, strawberries, pineapple
                  - 1 whole banana if available
                  - 1 cup spinach

                  Now for the added "superfoods"

                  - 1 tbsp cacao powder
                  - 1 tbsp Chia seeds
                  - 1 tbsp Maca powder
                  - 1 tbsp flax seed
                  - finger-full of Goji berries (sometimes)

I then add low fat or nonfat regular milk to the "fill line" and blend. The turn out tastes great, haven't had any taste issues. The nutty flavor of the Maca goes well with the chocolaty taste of the cacao. I wonder how this blend would taste with water though, probably nasty?

I also have some hemp protein and gelatin, however I don't know how to incorporate these into my smoothies. Since they are both protein, should I only use one over the other? Is 1 TBSP fine? Someone in this thread had mentioned negative things about hemp protein and another mentioned that gelatin doesn't really do anything.
