You made claims earlier about me that were not entirely accurate. And some of the claims I made were also speculative.

I never said anything that could even possibly be considered unfounded. Only me and AlexKidd were debating a kind of Squat vs Deadlift thing...

I've never seen you before but you seem to be some kind of jack assed nut bag.

I have a feeling you are some sort of Ray cheer squad in which case I wont respond to you again.

Good day. Another legitimate thread ruined by jokers.

Pretty weak imo. Just to be clear however. I don't know Ray so i'm not a fan or anything else. The reason I respond therefore has nothing to do with him, but everything to do with the way you and juggernaut choose to debate this subject. You choose to invoke scientific research to give your claims extra weight, to win the debate and disqualify any opposition because their knowledge is supposedly outdated due to the huge scientific strides that have been made...

All I did was look into that science and check if that is indeed the case. Quite clearly there isn't any research that shows this. So either you have research which you have yet to share or you're just making stuff up on the spot. It isn't so hard to prove me wrong I think, especially since you never make claims that could 'even possibly be considered unfounded'

Doing a deadlift the wrong way will certainly do it.

I don't understand why there's any argument. Throughout history, it's been 100 percent clear that there is a specific type of lift regimen for boxers only that is different from other sports. Of course you put the mass on by eating, but you won't want to eat unless you lift your ass off, which will spike the hell out of your appetite.

Emmanuel Steward also disagreed about weight training. But his guys did a little something. Swimming pools, resistance bands, dead lifts, squats, bulgarian lunges, hip machines would be my guess, but I'm probably wrong.

But the lifting will definitely spike growth hormone levels as aforementioned above

If you enjoy lifting weights then do so. But they aren't necessary to be a good boxer.

I train practically every muscle on my body and I truly believe it helps me in all aspects. Balance, ability to take punches, overall strength, muscle endurance, being explosive. But you have to balance it, you can't focus to heavily on it because it will take away from your training. To much of it can cause you to be a bit stiff and robotic, and as most know it takes more oxygen for muscles which causes fatigue at a accelerated rate. You need to know your body and be able to see what works and what doesn't.

I barely find enough energy to do abs and some push ups after a session. Bag and rope seems to be ripping my arms and legs pretty well already.
