Does anyone know any stretches or the reason my back stiffens up ( pain near ribs) after a hard session of training? usually this happens when I go for a run or do pushups.

well ur 19 and no back injuries... probably not a big deal.
is this muscle pain? soreness?
how long did you jog for? and how long have u been jogging for? how often do u jog?
IF u havent jogged in a long time, or IF u jogged an excessive amount, soreness in the area is a possible lol.
im no doctor. just guesses.

It sounds to me like your body is just getting used to working out. Just be consistent and the soreness will go away.

I guess it was just getting used to the long runs. Usually I did about 3km and now I am starting with 5km, I guess it was that. My friend told me to take an ice bath and that actually helped alot. thanks for everyones advice tho

Lie on a medicine ball and roll around using your legs to guide you/maneuver you around the ball to massage out your knots. Basically you are using your body-weight for pressure...a very effective technique. i do it all the time. It might hurt a bit but if so that's where your knots are so bare through it.
