Flipping tires, battle ropes and sledge hammer on tire workouts

I have taken a liking to working out with this way, it seems to give me both strength and cardio at the same time.

Are these boxer workouts too? I think conventional weights make you slow and don't do much for explosive power.

I have seen guys try to flip this 200 lb tire as quick and far as I do and struggle with it yet they can bench a hundred lbs more than me or deadlift 100 lbs more than me.

I'm simply stronger on the tire than them but they can press more than me.

Hammer, battle ropes and tire flips make you stiff? They don't seem like the type excersises that make you stiff.

George Foreman used to do some crazy **** like that I think, even his son did the same training.

            Pulling cars, chopping wood..

I think Joe Fraizer lived on a farm and got a lot of workout through just farm labor too.

Oh ok, no problem. I was starting to think you have never done these exercises before. I feel more fluid and lighter when I do a hard tire workout the next day or days later if I rest and eat well. I feel like I'm floating on gravity and I never really get that feeling with standard gym weights.

Battle ropes and Hammer does the same for my arms.

I would do that if I had the wood available, but I live in an apartment and have no wood so that method is a bit out of reach for me.
