I fully agree wih hit and not be hit. I'm just saying there are a ton of things that you can do in the 'danger zone' after landing a punch besides immediately running away for safety. Any pro would easily understand that.......... Rockin'

Rockin aren`t you the guy that said you had plenty of health problems because of your style of fighting?? toe to toe isnt the only style of fighting. And taking a step back isnt running. Its called being a smart boxer as opposed to a brawler or fighter.

As an amateur I walked the ring and controled with a jab. I was trained as a classic boxer for many years, I fully understand the theories and applications.

But to immediately jump out of range is purely amateur, beginning amateur at that.

Once a fighter has learned to use his eyes he doesn't need to just instantly run away. Take a step to the side, dig acouple more then maybe exit with the jabs. Hit and run away is entirely European/Monty Python.

Any problems that I might have attained boxing were attained as a professional. I wanted to fight that way at the time and I did just that, pitbull aggressive, with many world class fighters. But don't think that that style was the only one I learned........ Rockin'
