I want to gain 20lbs by christmas

    Well im going from barely eating to eating 6 meals a day, 1gm protein per lb bodyweight, lifting weights 3X a week and 8 pints of water per day instead of not really drinking many fluids

    I hopefully will regain the 10lbs i lost just by rehydrating, the next 10-15lbs will be the test

      Ill just answer the last part... miserable..

      I do it twice a year, though.... so I'm so used to it it's whatever...

          Im aiming to lose some wieght too, my goal is 200. im not sure what i weigh now probably 220-215, ill weigh myself tomorrow and chime in with how much im looking to lose.

            Todays day 1.

            Official weight 215.6lbs

            I'll be doing a protein shake fast for one week.
            Running, Shadow boxing and jump rope, pull ups every day for this week.

            I'll drop roughly 6-7lbs. (mostly food/water, maybe 2lbs of fat)

            Then after that it will be strict diet, mostly fish/chicken and veggies... very low on carbs... run every day.

            Re-check weight next Friday morning.

              By the way I'd love to meet you right at 190lbs, but I just don't think it's doable... I got a professional test done for my LBM and I have 176lbs of LBM now... At 185lbs, I have a 6pack... When I was 21 I was 185lbs, and didn't have a 6pack...

              When I was 21, I was maxing out bench around 215... Now Im maxing at 315... Im a lot bigger now muscle wise then I was back then, I haven't held under 200lbs since I was 23-24. I have hit 197-198.. but only after a 2hr workout session, and then I put the water back on.

              I'd like to get to the point where I'm walking around at 195, and not just after a workout... so that is my goal for this, but I realize I will have to lose some muscle as well.

              To get to 190lbs, I just don't think it's doable in this time frame...

                Remember

                Diet is priority
                Lifting second

                Eat big (healthy foods), lift heavy. Discipline and dedication is key. Be consistent. You'll see big gains in no time. 2lbs a week is very possible, but you'll have to eat like a monster.

                  Alright well i'll do my best to come up to 195

                  Today I had a leg day at the gym, diet was

                  4 Egg Omelette for breakfast

                  1 scoop whey, 2 scoop frozen yoghurt, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 bannana 100mls milk

                  300gm lean turkey mince patties and salad
                  1 scoop whey, 200mls milk

                  300gm steak with wholemeal tortilla and salad

                  Beef Jerkey snack

                      This would be more interesting if you two ladies posted your heights.

                      Today I had a ham sandwich with chips for lunch. now I'm having tea.

                      Height 6'1. Weight 220.
