Sean Sherk does a similar routine and they tweak the x/per week as the fight draws closer. Tell me Sherk isn't in good condition.

The workout change every time they do them also. They never do the exact same workout which inhibits plateauing.

I suggest you try the workouts before knocking it. And to think that this is the ONLY thing they do for Conditioning, is pretty foolish.

Sherk has tested positive for banned substances before, and Lesnar is suspect. Something to keep in mind.

There is a difference, yes. But it's time to get with the times.

There are new methods of training that are proven to work. Back in the day boxers and fighters did simple, non-complex workouts because that's all that existed and at that point in time nobody knew much about the human body, or training for that matter. And some people still think it's okay to get by on minimal training.

Now am I saying everyone should say **** calisthenics and old training methods? No. Old training methods still have their place, but let's get out of the dark ages and get with the times shall we?

There is nothing scientific about Complex/Block Training which is essentially what these Caveman routines are. It just looks Foreign because all you guys have been taught was Push Ups, Pull-Ups, Crunches and Cardio, Freeweights=Slow, Muscle= Slow.

Some guy in this section said that David Haye's training Routine was "weird" or something to the extent of being non-traditional. But it's not. Heavy Lifting on a 5x5 program is pretty commonplace. People here are just stuck in the 19th century.

The California State Athletic Commission is a shady organization. They've been known to screw **** up time and time again and Sherk went to great lengths to clear his name.

He could very well be innocent.

he looks like a body builder, not an athlete. Why is it that these MMA fighters are so obsessed with muscle building, yet no other "sport" in the world does this. Even olympic wrestlers aren't yoking themselves from lightweight to middleweight all the time.

Regardless of he looks like a bodybuilder, he is an athlete. Just like guys like Adrian Peterson or Usain Bolt. They have a muscular frame but that doesn't mean it has any affect on their athleticism.

Unlike in most sports, size does play a factor in a fight.

And lol @ you putting quotations on sport. Why am I even wasting my breath arguing with an obvious hater...

When push comes to shove, I'd personally rather be strong and well conditioned. I don't know about you.
