Seriously, dont mess with it if you dont like or cant accept the PAIN. It comes with the program. Become a BOXING WRITER instead. That way you can still be around the sport without being in it.

there's a difference between pain and being used to getting in hit in the face...... you can get use to getting hit in the face and come back from it even if the first punch you get hit with knocks you out as long as you don't give up and still try.... the pain shouldn't matter pain can be anything emotional pain, physical pain you need to realise its just a word and its nothing that you cannot handle(think about it if your body would take over and you would have collapssed if you were in sierous danger, your not gonna die so as long as you dont care about being a little pretty boy **** it.). to learn how to cope with both you should spar a lot and put yourself through more pain than you think you can handle when you train. in the end for that brief moment after you get hit you should learn how to tell your mind to **** off. when im training and its bearing i just try to focud on something completely different from the exercise im doing, when your in a ring with someone trying to hit you if you've trained hard and got heart then your just going to focus on knocking the other guy out not what your feeling.
p.s sorry for my horrible grammer

honestly, getting hit during the heat of battle doesnt hurt. Body shots can hurt, but its not bad durign sparring.

FWIW, I took one right over the heart yesterday in sparring that had me seeing neon cheetos. Never been hit there before, at least, not that hard. Yow.Last edited by fraidycat; 09-23-2007, 10:30 AM.
