    for those that cut 15+ pounds FAST...

    well i got a fight first week of september and i'm at 179 now, but i gotta make 165. i read DA1CATAS post from another thread about cutting weight so this is what i'm tryin to do based on what he said worked for him

    6AM - roadwork
    7AM - Breakfast - oatmeal with a banana and a cup of green tea
    1130AM - Turkey breast sandwich on 2 pieces whole wheat bread with non fat cheese, and an apple
    3PM - Whole weat pasta with piece of tilapia, and an apple
    5-7PM or 6-8PM - train at the gym
    9PM - 10grams glutamine
    10PM - sleep
    ...repeat every day

    this is what im gonna try and do, DA1, if u read this lemme know if this is similar to what u did, and anyone else lemme know of any tips if ya got any on makin weight fast cuz i dont wanna fight at 178 unless i have absolutely 100% no choice... thanks guys lookin forward to da responses.

    I am not sure, but would not you want to substitute an apple with tomato or cucumber for example, in other words, limit your sugar intake as much as possible?

        by the way, nice little russian poem there in ur sig. took me a while to read it, my russian reading is a little broken.

          That's contemporary poetry, a sign of the generation,

          As for your weight issues, did you try to drink a lot? I mean water, obviously.
          I am not sure, but usually when you are on a weight losing plateou(given that you do everything right) it means that you are not getting enough of something in your system.

            i drink plenty of water..... err, i think i do anyway. actually now i'm second guessing myself...

            anyway, it's too late too lose it now naturally i think, so i think i gotta pull out some bigger guns here...

              spread out your meals, it'l speed up your metabolism so that apple you have with lunch, safe it for a snack and same with dinner. If you only eat three times a day your metabolism slows down and is all "well i'l burn this off slowly cause im not getting fed for awhile." But if you eat small amounts throughout the day it'l burn it off quickly cause your body knows it'l get food soon. Also between Breakfast and lunch time do something active...like go for a bike ride. I too have had trouble making 154 through Highschool for wrestling and am finding it even more fun making 152 for boxing. You have to try and burn as many calories as you can and the weeks leading up to fight time keep well hydrated so you can dehydrate yourself if need be.

                i work from 8am to 4pm so bike ride is out. i could go on a jog on my lunch break i guess...

                but i heard not to eat after 4pm?...

                  Not to eat carbs, as far as I know. Protein is still good.

                    nothing wrong with eating after 4pm..its bad to eat then like go to bed cause your not burning those calories.
