I am a proud Mexican, but you my friend are a complete idiot. What the hell does race have to do with knowing when you are beat. I think it was a sad night for Mexican boxing, because we saw the final defeat of a great mexican boxer. Erik Morales gave it all he had...left. It was not enough to beat a powerful fast young boxer in his prime. The same thing happened when Oscar DLH defeated Julio Cesar Chavez the second time. There is nothing wrong with knowing when to fold. He made the right decision, why would he keep getting up if he KNEW he did not really have a chance? He is only 30 years old, he still has a future, why risk getting hurt?
