Floyd could compete with all of them, if he would win or not is pure speculation.

Originally posted by Abe AttellTommy's jab would stop anything that Floyd could do...in the fight with Ray, Ray wasn't looking to good until he caught Tommy, then things changed...Floyd doesn't have the power of Leonard. Hearns was an incredible boxer, but people tend to concentrate on his power because it was superhuman for that division.
I wonder if Floyd could have taken that Left Hook that SRR like to use so much
In my opinion, Floyd is going a bit to far when he calls himself the GOAT...at 147, fighting the all time greats, he might be swimming out to far
Damn, I have to agree on every word in your post.

I'm a huge fan of PBF but I think that each one of them could beat him, but it would be far from easy, PBF could hold his own against each of them, don't really see him winning tho .

you guys are selling him too short on a couple of videos you've seen. i think he could compete with all of them and could beat them too. of course, this is all opinion but floyd does have the skills to beat those great fighters.

Floyd would be out of his depth, he's too small. SRR & Hearns would go straight through him and I don't think he'd see the 5th round. Leonard would probably need a couple more rounds to get the job done.

Floyd has only had 2 fights at welterweight..
Against Zab Judah(who really sucks), he lost 4 of the first 4 rounds....no way he can even compete with Hearns, Leonard, and Robinson...
Mayweather is not made to fight the real welterweights...

This question is rather unfair. Could he beat some of the greatest welterweights? It's not out of the realm of possibilites but I wouldn't favor him. However, Floyd shouldn't even be fighting at welterweight so it's a rather unfair question that is loaded against him.

It should be more like, "could floyd compete with the greatest lightweights of all time?"
