    It's a mandatory.

Canelo has no choice but to take it if he wants to retain WBC title and continue on towards full unification at 168.

Delusion is one nasty illness when it's on this level. Real nasty.
Come on Sid, your hate for Canelo is making YOU delusional!

You seem like a good guy that knows his boxing but check the records.

Golovkin is 1xD, 1xL against Canelo, no matter what you want it to be!

        2. Are you knocking Canelo because Yildrim is the mandatory? Just trying to figure out why Canelo has a Mandatory? Isn’t he the Franchise God?

If Canelo is truly trying to unify AT 168 NOT 160 then he will eventually have to face some mandatories. This is just a mandatory fight in-between his real fights which are usually May/September. He just fought 2 months ago. Canelo is a Franchise champion. He is too special to fight any Mandatories what are you talking about?

Where is Jermall? Clearly with David Benevidez, Artur Beterbiev and Demetrius Andrade on Canelo’s keep them away from me list. When is he fighting again? He just beat the guy that beat GGG remember?
        3. Is Canelo the franchise champion at 168 or was he at 160? Oh... so now the designation wears off at the next weight class when he “wants,” to fight the Mandatory? Man this Franchise designation gets even more magical every day. Is it a particle or a wave? Is it a belt or a designation? Guess we will never know until team Canelo’s tells us how it behaves?

So you basically are saying that Canelo can move up to 175 and be the WBC champ? No but he can move up to 175 and still be designated as the Franchise Champion. Hell he could go down to 135 and be the Franchise champion according to Sulamain. It is designed for guys who move up and down in weight. And have multiple belts. Did you not see his recent interview? That is unless the Franchise designation morphs into a belt like Teophemo’s. To be honest I think it just makes you a champion forever. If Canelo goes to the UFC he will be the WBC Franchise champion if he pays the sanctioning fees.

You are comparing Canelo under GBP and Canelo today as a free agent. Why not wait and see what Canelo does with his career instead of crying so much? Oh so giving Canelo even more power to avoid fighters is going to eventually prove beneficial to fans? Even better bro I will keep challenging the BS in boxing and you can keep trying to make sense of it.

        4. Again, can Canelo move up to 175 and be the WBC champ or claim to be the champ? What if he moved up to HW or cruiser? So you are saying Canelo is the champ at any weight he chooses? So Canelo just has to drop enough weight to claim champ status and be a champ in 9 divisions. Damn why did he not think of that before? You just like repeating your self before you get the answer? You still sound confused is the Franchise Champion a weight specific belt or a designation that allows Canelo to hop any Mandatory in a single bound or pretend to be under its effects when it is someone he wants to fight? My guess is somehow this is all true?
5.Jermall is no longer Canelo's mandatory because they fight in two different divisions. What is so hard to understand about that? Lol... You still seem very confused, I understand this Franchise Designation is extremely confusing. Nobody is ever Canelo’s Mandatory when the Franchise is a designation. When it becomes a belt he can’t escape the magnetic pull of an easy fight. 😂🤣😂

Sounds like a paragraph of excuses buddy Smith looked like **** long before the Ryder fight against some Dutch kickboxer with 13 pro fights named Nieky Holzken if anything that was the fight that let Canelo know he was for the taking.

At this point they all are at least all the British 168's Smith is already off the list Saunders can get it when he finds a new undetectable training aid to help him make weight and Earbanks Jr can too if he ever decides to go back up to 168.

By the way at first I thought it might have been a typo but there is 2 posts where you clearly don't know the difference between "waisting" and "wasting" so yeah man you're wasting your brain cells hating on Canelo when he literally just fought the top dog at 168 and broke him physically and mentally. Wow... getting his arse whooped with logic and out comes Mr. Spellchecker. Btw- the correct usage of grammar is “there are 2 posts,” not there is 2 posts... the sentence requires a plural form of to be.

He sent offers to Saunders and Plant neither of them are ready even though they are "champs" who else would you have him fight at 168? List them your dream fights because he's on route to fight them all but when he outclasses them then you will call them bums like you are doing with Smith. Before the Ryder fight everyone was calling Smith the top 168 not me but the forum was and they also said at one point Canelo would never fight him and he did classic boxingscene hater.
David Benevidez would be a great fight? Or am I hater trying to get Canelo beat?

Why would they call it out? In order to fight Callum Smith for the WBC belt Canelo had to agree to defend against Yldirim next.

He's meeting their requirement and getting it out of the way with a quick turnaround too. Only 2 months after his last fight.

Meanwhile Jermall Charlo hasn't fought in 4 months and has nothing scheduled either.

Your countryman Billy Joe Saunders has plenty of advance warning that he is in the crosshairs for the May 5 weekend.

No "short notice" excuses will be tolerated from you for that one.
