You actually think Canelo is the franchise champion of every division? Use your brain. The fact that there’s been more than one franchise champion in the sport would tell you that. He was the franchise champ of *one* division, the division in which he held the belt in (160).

He was “elevated” so that he wouldnt have to worry about coming down just for mandatories when he was at 160 while he jumped weight. It in essence allows you to chase just the big fights in the division while still lining the pockets of the WBC. Learn to put two and two together.

Yldrim was the mandatory BEFORE Canelo ever held the title or was even considered to be fighting for it because Benavidez was never in the talks. Unfortunately he lost his belt on the scales and it was only THEN that Canelo/Callum fought for it. You’re delusional.
