You must not fook with RBR threads usually or something. If there is a boring ass fight alerting folks to a exciting ass MMA fight happens all the time in these threads bruh. Or sh^t sometimes when there is just a big MMA fight it gets mentioned right along with the boxing match by those that dig MMA.

If this fight wasn't trash & uncompetitive I'd not said anything about it to be clear. I was watching both shows for hours. Notice how I didn't say anything about it til we had a boring ass fight doe?

Also quit being a boxing snob man.

Well, count me as a vote that doesn't want to see MMA updates in a boxing RBR thread on a boxing forum.

Why don't you and Vlad start an MMA RBR thread in the MMA subsection for fight nights?

Clary was getting picked apart from the jump and lacked the answers to turn the tide yet also wasn't really taking the kind of power to make that seem necessary imo and was minimizing the damage to an extent with effective protection of a crafty survivor. I also feel like the narrative in these shutout cases seems weirdly selective at times. If this was a unification or a guy with more "clout" than Clary I think it's likely the narrative would have been "He knows he's got to get that KO!" even if that possibility seems as remote as it did here, rather than "Spare him".
Oh yea yea I definitely agree with you there on the "quality" of the fight or the guy losing every round without getting greatly damaged making it a selective thing when folks talk about this sorta thing.

But honestly I kinda agree it should be selective cuz I want a top ten fight to play out as far as we can play it out & give both guys as much chance to prove who's best as possible. Those guys have put so much into the sport & proven so much to get where they are they deserve more leeway.

And I don't think that same leeway should be given in a 6 round fight between a 8-0 guy & a 3-12 guy for an easy example. Those guys have proven far less about themselves in the ring & are likely to not be anywhere as committed to the sport as the top ten guys so I think they kinda need more protection & therefore less leeway.

The difficult part of that is where is the line in the middle or what exactly is the leeway you give guys like Toka tonight to be uncompetitive & not really in the fight? Sh^t I don't claim to know, but maybe thats something worth considering cuz idk that its good for Toka to be taking punches in a fight he showed early on he had lil chance of winning.

Although with Toka's chances before the fight started to win its a solid argument to make the fight shouldn't have been sanctioned to begin with, but thats a whole other subject.

Why don't you just not quote my post if you aren't interested?

Like I said this isn't uncommon at all. I'm surprised you & that other old timey guy even said anything.

You guys gonna be crying again in the future when it happens again cuz it will?

It’s crazy how you can still win without a KO... smh 75% of you need to stop watching boxing.

SHlT was hilarious.. Bradley's like "When have I ever took a beating like this Dre?"

Ward wanted to say, that time when Provodnikov was beating your azz around the ring like you stole sum LOL

Poor Bradley probably has no recollection of that fight. It was so bad that it took Tim years to get rid of that punch drunk slur to when he finally sounded normal again when he spoke. Like his brain needed to heal from trauma sustained. It's part of the reason he retired at 33.

I know some cats here watch both sports & in particular when there is a boring boxing match on they flick over to a fun MMA fight like this one was. If that ain't you move along.
Moreno should have won 3 rounds to 2 easy

For all the skills Shakur has the boy just ain't got much pop lol, and in all seriousness there IS something to be said about that if they gonna be out here promoting this kid as the next Floyd, when what I see is clearly a kid that in all likely hood wouldn't fare too well anywhere north of 135lbs and would probably be the underdog vs any of the top guys at 135 but I notice how he's not really pressing for any of those guys in the immediate future either, which is smart.

But Shakur gonna need to address his power issues in fights, either through more physical training to get a physically strong as possible or learning to sell out a bit when he fights instead of always taking the play it safe boring route which tonight was a prime example if he sold out a bit he would've stopped Clary and it would've been a good look u can play it safe once u build up
