but i respect your opinion and could totally see you being right

bud, as much as i like and respect him, loves his situation...dont get me wrong i think he has no qualms about fighting the pbc guys and would if his back was against the wall...and he prob beats most of em...but i think he loves getting nice checks for the fights hes getting
I can't read Bud! He signs an extension w/ the guy who couldn't get him the Pacquiao fight, when Pacquiao was in-house, and he knew all the other top WWs were not in-house! Bob must have told him that once that ESPN deal came through, it would be the end of the PBC?

Anyway, my Christmas wish is that Spence, Jermell, and Jermall, all move up one weight class, starting with Jermall! Jermall should go for Plant or Benavidez ASAP! Jermell can wait for Castano, then bounce! Spence (if he wins tonight) should have one more fight at 147: Pac, Bud, or Boots, and I really would love to see Boots get a shot! Happy Holidays Fam! One Love!

my opinion on bud/pac was that arum didnt wanna pay pac for that fight or any more tbh...i think bobs perception was that the perception of pac was that he was washed up and bud wouldnt get any credit anyway and the money would be too much...bob sure changed his tune once pac upped his stock again and beat thurman though....

i think theres a certain amount of loyalty from bud...bob does a good job to a certain point of building guys...but yeah bud totally understood the landscape...tbh i think bud was perfectly fine with sucking up money from bob to fight relatively easy fights and have one big cashout(hopefully a spence ppv)....i think its easy for espn/top rank to play the "they dont wanna acknowledge us" card and just keep doing what theyre doing because they know the pbc has had/has a bunch of good inhouse matchups...if arum had the pbc roster of WWs he wouldnt even really be thinking about bud over there with the pbc at all either....theyve been able to sit back and do what they do and perpetuate the myth that hte pbc is ducking simply because the pbc doesnt need them and its just smart business for the pbc and they absolutely know this

as far as spence/ennis...nah...i mean from a boxing fans perspective hell yeah would love to see it....but if spence gets by danny he has too many other bigger and more lucrative options...thurman, pac, porter rematch, bud....theres no way hes even entertaining that fight...imagine loma and teo were WWs....and loma had pac, bud, thurman, and porter to look at...you think hed consider fighting a young, less recognizable, name like boots? i doubt it....

depending on how things turn out over the next year i could see maybe spence moving to 154 in 2022 or later...maybe to fight jermell..but hes got too many big options at 147 to be moving if he can still make 147 comfy

jermall hes gonna have to move if hes gonna chase that canelo fight...i honestly think he should try to fight eubank at 160 soon then make the move....but we shall see

        happy holidays to you too!

But, this isn't the first such statement. He's constantly talked like this.

          He's talking like an A-Side. He's not!

            A-Side is measured between fighters.

            Spence is A-Side over Crawford.

            Manny is A-Side over both.

But Spence IS A-Side over Crawford.

Crawford would be A-Side over Porter. But he ducked it.

Crawford would be A-Side over Thurman. But he ducked it.

Crawford would have been A-Side over Swift. But he ducked it.

Crawford wants A-Side treatment in the ONLY fights he's the B-Side in. It doesn't work that way. Beat a top level B-Side and dominate them, earns you 40% against whatever A-Side, you graciously accept and beat them so you become the A-Side.

            Same as Floyd.

Manny tried - he accepted B-Side 40% to fight Floyd. He failed. But despite that failure and Jeff Horn, he rebounded and earned back his A-Side by beating Thurman.

So I'm not sure why this is eluding people. Floyd did it with Oscar. That's the model Crawford should be following.

Stop wishing for something that won't happen.

Manny's promotional company manager already debunked that anything was happening there.

Crawford needs to fight Porter or Keef. Hell, even Virgil Ortiz at this point. Those are his options TO EARN the fight.

We need to STOP talking about a Manny fight. It was never going to be a thing.

Used to be a big bud fan....but the arrogance of this dude lately and his stance of not needing Spence to solidify his legacy as "the" top dog is a ****in slap in the face to us fans...gtfoh with that bullshiet.

As far as Im concerned he needs to retire already, stop holding up the division and trying to follow in Floyd's footsteps with a Conor McGregor fight and go be the president of the Philippines
Pac is the perfect fight for Bud. Financially and notoriety wise. Pac has the other 147 belt also.

Isn't that a bit hypocritical? "I'm not fighting Thurman because he wouldn't fight me before I beat Brook, but I'm not fighting Boots until he gets a strap?"

What's your take on Bud vs. Vergil Ortiz Jr.?

Wow this is shameful. In the most recent era of true champions you would never hear of comment like this from one of those fighters...Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales amount other warriors. I'm with fighter doing business but if you are a business man then don't pretend to sell that you are the best, a true champion, the man who beat the man because not...you are a true business man!
