Crawford needs the big marquee fight at 147 and Spence is it. If they're questioning your legacy now what do you think will happen when you retire bro? Fans want to see the fight so just make it happen and stop relying on Pacquiao. As far as Im concerned he needs to retire already, stop holding up the division and trying to follow in Floyd's footsteps with a Conor McGregor fight and go be the president of the Philippines

arum/crawford got exposed hard after the mean machine fight...they kept throwing porters name out there as the guy they were targeting next after that fight.....bob kept talking porter...even right after....because they thought that the pbc wouldnt even consider it...bob loves throwing out the names when he thinks al has plans already for them or they wont even respond...kenny porter responded with a "call me" and insinuated he had haymons blessing...and about a week after that crawford was on camera and was asked about porters "thats not on our radar"...well your people kept saying it was on your radar for a month or so just before that......

arum loves perpetuating the myth that the pbc guys dont want to fight bud...just like he did with pac...he perpetuated the myth that floyd didnt want the fight for a few years until people stopped even caring who was to really blame....but he had dumb fans eating it up meanwhile even guys that were big pac supporters, like fat dan, turned on him realizing what was really up...

they love telling you that the pbc wont fight bud...the reality is bob has little interest in making any fight with the pbc unless its a big fight thats ppv...because bob cant afford to pay most of the pbc guys their fair market value to come over and fight unless he controls both fighters....and hes not gonna do a joint promo unless its a big enough ppv event...its that simple...he runs a big game talking for sure...masterfully he has the espn guys like bradley out there doing his work talking about "cmon man cmon pbc"....but its all a ruse

if spence beats danny expect to see spence/thurman next while spence adds another couple of successful ppvs under his belt and bud is fighting a fight nobody GAF about

I agree because what Terrence Crawford needs is to face someone who is perceived as a threat. Ortiz Jr. isn’t green to me because he’s on the cusp of fighting for world titles, at least according to the eye test. Hopefully Bud will maximize the back half of his career instead of resting on his laurels.

Canelo had already won titles before fighting Floyd, and people still said he was "green!" I think it's a good fight, and Crawford shouldn't worry about the hate, because Vergil is the one calling him out! Bob and Oscar work together frequently, so this should be easy to make! Honestly, I could see Pacquiao vs. Ortiz Jr. too, because Manny knows the Mexican crowd will show up in full force for that!

obviously i think spence/ pac would be first priority for spence....and id hope that would happen....but i think keith/thurman makes sense...although i see your point...porter/spence was good enough to warrant a rematch but im just not sure
