bud however doesnt have those options....i think him vs ortiz would be a good option...i havent really dug too much into the situation...i know ortiz expressed interest and is #2 in the wbo rankings with porter being #1.....whats the deal with that situation? im not up on that
Vergil has been all in the press stating he wants Crawford next! He said it before and after Bud fought Brook, and for some crazy reason, Oscar seems to be onboard with the idea! I guess it's not that crazy, since he let Canelo fight Floyd @ 152? If I were Oscar, I would do Ortiz Jr. vs. Rashidi Ellis, but I'm all in for Crawford vs. Ortiz Jr.! Boots fights next weekend!

oh i know ortiz has been calling for it! for sure....i think people saw what teo did and now think they can all pull that off too....teo went ahead and accelerated his career by taking a gamble...and if teo lost he still had time to regroup probably and most wouldnt dismiss him because he lost to a top p4p guy....same type of situation for ortiz...the problem for arum is that in the event that ortiz wins what does bob do then? if ortiz were with top rank then yeah thats an easy make...bob cant lose....ortiz would be a big dog in that fight i think but its still too risky for arum imo...its risk vs little reward

i hate always having to analyze the business side/aspect of matchups...but its just a reality we have to deal with today in the sport...its always a factor whether we want it to be or not

Definitely not. They don’t allow fighters to become big headed divas like what our fighters have become in boxing.

Spence is gonna fight Thurman next whether he likes it or not. The management will persuade Spence to take that one. The hate will only build the match-up more. Definitely, that fight will draw, more than we might expect.

            1. Pac vs Crawford would sell very well.
            2. Crawford would get world wide acclaim and superstar status.
            3. Crawford would be the A side to any other WW.
            4. Crawford would get biggest payday of career.

It's the best thing for him.
So the guys that were dogging Errol for wanting the Pac fight first for the same reasons are now praising Crawford for wanting to do the same thing, for the same reasons?

Lol. Can't make this ish up.

Whats your excuse for him doing the same numbers vs Porter, who doesn't have a huge following?

True, but Oscar is in a bad spot too! He really has no option but to deal with Bob for Crawford! Bob likes those situations, and Bob knows the Mexican crowd is reliable!

That fight will draw if Thurman fights Ugas (or Porter), and wins! Right now, Thurman is the guy that lost to a 40-yr. old fighter! No Bueno!

Both of them need each other for this fight.
Except Crawford is older and Spence will wait until he sees enough slippage.

When and IF Crawford start slipping, watch Spence team come out calling for the fight to be made.

I have a feeling Crawford will retire before his age starts showing.

The thing is, his numbers are better than bud
