This is the reason why I choose Taylor-Ramirez. This will be a history in the making that Lopez can achieve. If I remember correctly, I believe Holyfield has achieved this when he beat Douglas but that was a 3-belted era anyway. 4 belt era is a different story. Plus to win undisputed titles consecutively? This will be the 1st time imo. I’m not even a huge fan of Lopez but this will be the most exciting step for him among all choices.

Maybe Zepeda as a buffer option in case he plans to test waters @ 140 1st.

Loma needs to show fans he isn’t going to basically show up for a payday agai by giving away the 1st half of the fight.
You really have to show up in here just to express your anti-Loma brigade against those who wanted a Loma rematch? Just to let you know, it’s their freedom to choose whichever they want to see and they still prefer it. So be it if it does happen.

Me personally? I don’t want a Loma rematch, but I want Loma vs Haney now, especially when Lopez leaves this division

Haney. It's all about the belts.

Don’t make it about me just because you disagree with a very fair point I made.

Loma didn’t fight for 2/3rds of the fight. That doesn’t earn you a rematch.

It was closer to 1/2 than 1/3. Even then, that other half of the fight when he showed up just tells me he can hang on with these guys. Lopez’s power made him tentative but not everybody hits that hard. I’d still like to see Loma against other contenders. Loma vs Haney in particular.

Lopez will be out from this division imo

Actually it tells me if he came out to win rather than to survive he likely gets stopped.

He felt Teo’s power and decided a loss by UD was better than trying to win and get ktfo or stopped.

I don’t see why anyone that fought like that deserves a rematch.

I agree to some degree. That’s why I don’t want rematch too. I don’t want Loma to ruin himself trying to get that revenge/redemption. He can redeem himself in some other ways. He still has something left imo and I’ll say this again, not everybody hits as hard as Lopez. Loma can still hang on against everybody else

Best move imo for Loma is go back to 130.

I’d like that too. But if he wants to stay, he can still compete imo.

Things will get interesting once Lopez leaves this division.

If he doesn’t give Haney the fight he owes him I’m not really interested in watching him fight at 135.

Top rank has a lot of people at 130 and some coming soon like navarette, conlan and Stevenson.
