Also once a guy beats the champ isn't he now the champ & when he loses wouldn't he deserve a rematch/trilogy fight if he lost the initial rematch? So basically you'd have to beat every champ twice to reallllllly be the champ & move forward if things operated like that. That's nuts brother.
Lomachenko was not a Bruce Seldon type of champion 'He is a 2 x Olympic Champion, and multiple world Champion in the professional ranks'.

That type of champion, deserves a rematch.

It is not about what you think 'Or any fan', it is about the competitive honor 'Between fighters'.

Note: Wladimir Kiltschko deserved a rematch vs Tyson Fury, but he was disallowed one due to Fury being spooked.

      Why or why not?
Explain why Loma should get another big payday after doing nothing but running and not throwing from rounds 1-7?

Loma needs to show fans he isn’t going to basically show up for a payday agai by giving away the 1st half of the fight.

Competitive honor doesn't exist in boxing nor should it. It's business at this level. If the Lakers don't make the playoffs next year they shouldn't be allowed in cuz of competitive honor from last year. If you lose uncompetitively whatever type of champion you are you don't deserve a rematch. If last year's MLB champs lose in the finals the team that beat them don't gotta do it again cuz of last year's accomplishments. This is a cool concept, but it's not a real one under the business of boxing rules the sport or any sport is run by.

You telling me with a straight face Spinks deserved a second fight with Tyson after getting blown out in 91 seconds or whatever?

Wilder deserves a rematch with Fury after getting owned til he was KO'd in the mid rounds?

Sh^t beyond that if competitive honor existed in boxing guys like Boots Ennis & numerous others who are high level prospects would be getting meaningful fights instead of being avoided by the higher level guys Boots needs to fight to prove how high level he is or isn't.

I didn't say he should. I marked it as the #4 of the 6 fights mentioned I wanted to see.

Trying to compare team sports, to individual sports is not going to work 'The players get told what to do' and teams are constantly changing, players come and go 'Tyson Fury is still Tyson Fury, he was Tyson Fury in 2009, and he is Tyson Fury now'.

In boxing THERE is competitive honor between individual athletes, this has been displayed throughout history.

In Tyson Fury's tradition, the only way you can beat another man is by 'The opposing opponent signalling to the referee, they no longer want to continue'.

Deontay Wilder deserves a rematch, HE wanted to carry on fighting 'Wilder was fighting back STILL at the time of the stoppage'. Tyson Fury is the better fighter but? He has been walking around, as if he sparked out Wilder or beat him into submission 'None of that happened'.

Sometimes a defeat is so conclusively, it is hard for a rematch to happen 'But those type of defeats are rare'. Lomachenko was not blasted out of the ring, and neither was Deontay Wilder etc.

                  Loma don't deserve ****.

he's the one that shot down a rematch clause.

then he decides to reveal an "injury" to discredit Teo's win. and has his manager do it like a hoe

Loma has no integrity and lost without honor. he "deserves" nothing but a middle finger from Teo

But I’d pay to see any of those outside the Lomachenko rematch.
