I haven't seen the punch stats but watching it live, they were both landing well. That said, Lopez came back extremely well after getting abused in rounds 7-11. Loma turned it on WAY too late.

That card was out of whack. But even in 7-11 lopez was way more active than Loma through the first 7.

And honestly I didnt think lopez was gonna come out the way he did in round 12, I thought lomachenko would press and carry the momentum he had.

But looking at round 12 maybe that's why Loma was so tentative

I think compubox had lopez landing 50 in the last round. I usually dont keep track of compubox much while scoring a fight

Giving Loma 2 is a stretch as he landed a few clean punches but was heavily outlanded in the round. Round 5 was clear round for Lopez as he landed more and connected on some heavy body shots. The 12th was a clear round for Lopez, not sure how its even arguable without bias.

Lopez didn't land anything clean at all in rd 2. Ward and Tessitore gave Loma the round too.

Clean, effective punching is great and well regarded .....when it fits ones opinions....

And I said if one thinks that Lopez won rd 12 then I can accept that. It seems that most think he did so I will go with that too.

That said, Loma still won to me and Lopez is definitely the goods.

Lopez impressed me bigtime. Way better than I expected. Big props.

That said, Loma still won the fight.

When he decided to get going, he hurt Teo several times and I couldn't really see a time he hurt Loma other than the borderline low blow.

Loma won rds 2, 5, 7-11 and possibly 12. If you say Lopez won 12 then I say okay, but that's still a 7-5 win for Loma.

He started way too late and it cost him but it was in his best interest. Lopez is extremely twitchy and powerful early and carried it deep into the fight.

I get that this is against the basic hater scorecards on here and I get it, its fun to see Loma fail and all, but look at this a little closer. Loma won 1 round on one of the cards! One!
That should tell you something. He had Lopez almost out on his feet in more than one round. Ffs! Not even the biggest hater on here only gave him one round!

I hear you bro I agree. I’m even watching the first 6 rounds and what did Teo actually do that made Loma not engage? Maybe they underestimated Lopez like I did but you would expect an experienced fighter like Loma to have the answers before the 7th round. Lopez made him look ordinary but I will commend both their hearts today
