Canelo looked better, against a better opponent. He destroyed Kovalev in the 11th round.

GGG on the other hand, damn near lost. Many people had him losing. Boxingscene live scoring had it 115-112 for Derevyanchenko. Though it was not a robbery, it was just a close fight that I thought the loser was GGG.

Rightfully so. Am curious to know how a drop like that is going to affect Canelo. He'll be 30 with a lot of miles on him so it won't be as easy to cut weight like he could half a decade ago. The main thing for Golovkin is to not add too much weight between fights. Abel really screwed him there for the first 2 fights. Should have hired a nutritionist a long time ago. Still think the fight should be at a higher weight, for both guys.

hard luck for Canelo if he overlooks Saunders... but I can't see it happening... he is too professional for that, and I think his team would sense a problem
And I also don’t like Canelo’s weight hopping, also very risky. From 175, to 168 to 160 (GGG III?).

        Just not good all around.

Canelo is at the point of his career where he thinks he can accomplish anything and everything, no matter what. People around him gassing his head up. He’s human. Even superman Roy Jones Jr had his limit, and it didn’t even take a great fighter to bring him down from the clouds. Just a solid boxer who was hungry in Tarver.

Canelo will whoop him worse than the rematch.

Don’t mind that clown he also thinks Khan slipped and it wasn’t a ko.

Unless he lands a GGG bomb from hell & puts Canelo down like Marquez did Pac, I don't see GGG winning. It appears his window has closed & it's unfortunate he got f&cked over in the 1st fight. 2nd was a draw or close W for either man. 3rd fight we be Canelo saying "see I told you I beat him clearly every time"

Maybe he should dump Banks & take Furys lead & have Sugarhill train him. Don't know if it would make much of a difference but I feel like Banks has been a horrible fit & actually accelerated Golovkins decline. Say what u want about Abel but he had GGGs conditioning on another level. The man ate vicious body shots from Canelo all night & never stopped coming. With Banks I've seen him look tired, slower, and throwing a lot less almost as if he's unsure when to throw because hes trying to "box more".
Id like to see him say “f’ck it” and re-hire Sanchez, and try and make a last stand vs Canelo. They’re going to get beat anyways, so why not go down the admirable way like a captain going down with his ship.

I can see BJS being highly motivated for this fight and catch Canelo being too complacent and eek outa decision. Booking fights with top opponents, while having an upcoming fight vs another top opponent, usually doesn’t end well.
                ...eek out a decision....vs Canelo...in Vegas...

Kovalev isn’t better than Derevyanchenko. Derevyanchenko would knock Kovalev out.

I thought Derevyanchenko beat GGG 116-111. That being said, Canelo was trailing on the cards to an old man who gets knocked out by everyone worthwhile now.

                  They both looked awful.

If I’m critical of both fighters, Canelo fans get really offended for Canelo and ignore that I’m being critical of his opponent too.

This is the most butt hurt fan base in all of sports.

Since we’re making things up, why did you score AJ-Ruiz 2 120-108 Ruiz?

Yeah GGG needs to have his top tier stamina back/in action if he really wants to beat Canelo (and I mean like legit, not what judges say)...if he doesn't have the same output as usual, and is getting hurt, it could be trouble for him.
