      I say a B is about right. He just hasn’t fought enough elite level talents to get a higher grade & he never got that official win over Canelo even though I think he won the first fight. He also has a few questionable wins on his resume. I personally thought he lost his last fight.

            I think based on resume and accomplishment
            A+ = Floyd/Pac
            A = Ward
            A- = Canelo/Loma
            B+ = Fury/Kova
            B = Usyk/Donaire
            B- =Golovkin

            etc...

            I really like Golovkin, but he really has not done much. Compare him to Kova, both considered EE monster types, but Kova has
            done so much as a three time champ that they almost seem incomparable.

              His career? What's the criteria?

              Resume? Achievements? Career earnings?

              Resume? Well that varies by user, but personally, I gave him the first fight over Canelo. Big victory for an older fighter. So that's got to be at least a B, maybe B+.

              He's clearly A+ at career earnings, as very few boxers have earned the amount of money he is.

              Achievements? Never undisputed and only a one division champion, but still at least around a B- to B.

                Well at least we reached an understanding. In future let's just forgo the pretense that you're interested in having a dialogue and skip straight to the insults, huh? Save us both a bit of time and save me having to read your drivel.

                  Serious question...how do you have Kov as doing so much more than GGG?

                  Edit - I mean Kov is a 3 time champ because he's lost more than GGG lol...GGG is a two time champ now officially as well...but I don't think '#time champ' is really a great indicator of greatness...seems more appropriate to gauge who they faced, and if you wanted a quick cheat sheet, you could say how many defenses each guy had as champ...rather than how many times they became champ.

                    Since this was bumped I'll give a more nuanced breakdown of his career:

                    1) on official accomplishments...A-...really good wins, a lot of OK wins, dominant wins...no bad losses, only one official loss to Canelo, in Canelo's prime...story of his official career says he was a great fighter with a long reign as champion at MW, who rarely had an off night, and would make easy work of anyone not near his level, and would never give those guys a chance, which is rare...some really good wins, but no great official wins (over another 'great' fighter) however so have to give him an A-.

                    2) on career/money made/success in that area...A+...the two Canelo fights, which helped him get the DAZN deal put him at probably close to $200 million in total earnings when it is all said and done...that's about as good as anyone except Floyd Manny Canelo and AJ...and then maybe a few other recent HWs as well.

                    3) on my opinion of his career/accomplishments...A...he could have been an A+ had he had more dominant wins in my eyes over Jacobs/Canelo twice/and Derevy...or had he fought some other 'great' fighters and won those...I felt the only really debatable fight he has had so far is Derevy, but it is fair to say he could have dominated Canelo more, or Jacobs and SD, to be considered one of the truly elite fighters ever...fair to him, he did fight those guys later in his career, but I think you can still argue he should have done more in those fights as well.

                      Bro you trash GGG more than anyone on this site..and you still give him a B-...and you hit Pac probably harder than anyone too, and you seem to say he is way above GGG yet nowhere near Floyd...so Manny is like an A- to you and Floyd A+? I just don't really follow how your visceral critiques of GGG and Manny, and your effusive praise of FMJr come out to those letter ratings.

                      I would also say that as great as Manny and Floyd were...they certainly have things one could critique about them as well...as they became Super-A sides, they became much more protected and chose 'safer' fights than other fighters could choose...they could pick the best name that they could also most certainly beat.

                      Manny also had some losses/bad losses/close fights against not great opposition...Floyd never traveled away from home in his entire career, and in his Money May days he pick and chose any fight he wanted, on his terms, and with as favorable a ref and judges as one could hope for.

                      None of that is to diminish what great stuff they did of course...and I could go on and on about the great stuff they did as well.

                      But they certainly have a lot of stuff you can get on them for, like any other fighter ever really...no fighter is without fault.
