How would you grade golovkins career (A* to F)

But yeah If that's how you read it sure. My efforts here have been entirely about pointing out that's what's needed is a consistent grading scale, so we're all talking about the same thing, not to try to impose my opinion on where Golovkin should rank on anyone else. FWIW even the ranking system I've outlined there is insanely top heavy, cramming something like 98% of all boxers into the bottom two categories - almost logrithmic, but I get that most interest is focused on just a very small part of the overall spectrum.

Personally I'd Rank GGGs overall career an A using that scale but I ain't claiming any particular objectivity.

Yeah for real, I ain't mad if someone wants to put him in B based on resume - or at least the complete absence of standout official wins on it - I could probably make a case for an A(A- probably) threr too, but it's subjective and I ain't gonna waste my words. Part of the problem of course is the vagueness of the term Career. Resumes a big part of course but if you start figuring in fame or notoriety and earnings then it's hard to claim GGG ain't made out like a damn bandit with his DAZN deal and 5 years in the P4P rankings.

GGG is someone who is average at best who fooled the public into believing that he is a certain type of character and wants all the smoke, but in reality he is a p*ssy who plays it safe. His career has been on a decline, arguably losing whenever he steps up, looked horrible/arguably lost against jacobs/canelo/chenko. He never looked good or the same since the kell brook fight in 2016. At this point, I am not expecting much from him, and I won't miss him if he retires. I just hope he has enough shame and common sense to not show up as a future hall of famer.

I wasn't threatening you lol..I'm talking about GGG...I was saying he would and to look at the stuff you say about him.

And yeah I probably would too lol but I'm not really a violent guy and we live worlds apart.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion man...I don't really care at all about what most people say on here...imho 95%+ percent of posters on here are just fanboys with self-esteem issues who root on and support their crew and talk down about anyone else.

All you have to do is follow this site for a little while and notice patterns with some posters....and that's fine...fans will be fans.

As for what patterns and biases I have...I treat all fighters equally...I tend to favor the aggressive fighter but will always score the round for the guy who does the better work...aggressive guy tends to get favored by me because they are usually doing the better work...defensive fighters or A-sides don't get every round by default on my cards.

I also evaluate how protected or not fighters are and factor that into my analysis of fighters overall...some guys in the big 3 boxing areas get more help than other fighters as far as home ring advantage/judges/refs/promotion/hype...some guys from outside of those countries would get more love/credit if they were from one of the big countries/were a different color.

I am very very secure with myself so I don't feel the need to prop up or hate on fighters for arbitrary reasons...just evaluate what I see...and when anyone follows my posts about fighters, they would quickly realize I keep it real on all fighters, regardless of background...very few on here can say the same.

Solid run of demolishing below world class competition. Definitely avoided to an extent but also alot of 154lber on his title defense resume. Probably deserved a W vs Canelo in the 1st fight but definitely lost the 2nd IMO. Borderline hall of famer
