IVs are still banned under WADA guidelines because they can be used to “dilute or mask the presence of another substance"
three weeks after the fight, USADA granted Mayweather a retroactive the****utic use exemption to receive IV injections. USADA told the NSAC that Mayweather had not applied for the TUE until 18 days after the fight against Pacquiao.
thats so weird why would they do that?
Al Haymon, the Godfather of boxing, saw to it that the U.S. Anti Doping Agency was paid an extremely generous $150,000 for handling blood and urine testing for the fight. That’s approximately ten times the amount it would normally get. Mayweather’s own company handled the promotion and hired the testing agency for both fighters.
you putting the pieces together now? they paid them off so they would be allowed to cheat. he was not dehydrated as he claimed. thats absurd. he only had to drop 2 pounds. why do you think usada isn't used anymore and vada is? they might have made a lot more for this one fight but their reputation was destroyed because every boxer/promoter knows they will let you cheat if the moneys rightOriginally posted by HeadShots View Postillegal IV is cheating. So you can't say an IV is illegal when it's legal under Nevada rules, and under the additional rules Floyd & Manny voluntarily agreed to, which was that you'd need USADA to confirm it was for medical reasons, Floyd was in the clear.
is this guy mentally ill?
LAS VEGAS -- On the eve of his record-breaking megafight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather took an intravenous injection of saline and vitamins that was banned under World Anti-Doping Agency guidelines, according to a report by SB Nation on Wednesday.
Three weeks after the fight, Mayweather received an exemption from the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the report said. However, Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett said USADA does not have authorization to grant an exemption. Bennett said only the commission, which was not notified of the exemption until after it was given, can give an athlete an exemption.
Although the substances contained in the IV were not banned by WADA, whose standards USADA says it follows, the fact that they were given intravenously was not allowed.

imagine going on a ped crusade against ONE man for 10 years,, and then the night you finally decide to fight that one man,, you are the one breaking the rules and administering fluids directly into your blood stream the night before the fight, !

At the time of the fight, IV rehydration was completely legal under the rules of Nevada.
Floyd and Manny voluntarily agreed to stricter regulations beyond what was required by Nevada. One of the restrictions they agreed to was that any IV rehydration would need to be deemed medically necessary by USADA.
USADA deemed that Floyd's IV rehydration was medically necessary. Therefore the IV was completely legal. Both under the rules of Nevada and under the additional restrictions Floyd and Manny voluntarily agreed to.
But the next day they changed their stance. That was fkn fishy even if were dumb as hell.
Even if IV was legal back then, the amount floyd needed was way beyond necessary according to doctors and experts alike. And drinking water would have been better.
Floyd also is 147lber fighter so it’s fishy that he was drained to death like they claimed.
And why was it applied for TUE 18 days after the fight wazzup with that.
Even if it all makes sense it’s still very fishy don’t you think? Of course they gonna make reasons for everything but the way it happened was just fisssheeeey.
A 147 fighter needed extreme amounts of IV? Wtf

why the illogical behavior of usada? manny isn't allowed to receive a legal toradol shot because of his paperwork yet floyd who didnt even apply for the iv until 18 days after the fight is allowed to receive an illegal iv? they sat there and watched him do it without any paperwork. they were working for floyd. you can't see that? they were covering for floyd. you can't see that?
he was dehydrated because he dropped 2 pounds for the weigh in? we have the weights on the 24/7 so we know he wasn't draining himself to make weight. therefore we must ask why they gave him the tue and i cant find a reasonable logical explanation for it. the only thing is the program was run and paid for by floyd and they didnt want to upset their employer. floyd ran vegas and they wanted future work and more money in the future. pretty easy to understand. same reason in government these stooges in congress support their donors and do their bidding. if they dont byebye money.Last edited by daggum; 01-18-2020, 01:29 PM.

Pacquiao fans are the last to call Floyd a PED cheat at the final hour...
I mean seriously, Toradol? Top Rank pre planned the camp news about a shoulder injury to prepare for the event of needing a Toradol injection on fight night.
Floyd and PAC phagg0ts think that numbing yourself for a fight isn’t cheating... let me repeat, ON SOMETHING during a fight versus someone with a nano trace of meat contamination 80 days away whom would go under testing leading up to the fight.
We’ve got Haymonation allowing an IV for “dehydration..” and another bulbous head hero wanting numbing effects with Toradol like multi-million dollar NFL games on the line...
Both Haymon and Top Rank doing shady ness. Not unusual that fans are naive to this. So much money on the line for a cross promotional event of course both sides needed their thing just in case.. the show must go on
