Floyd's Illegal IV; A Prefight Ritual Or A One-Time Thing?

Floyd was always ready to try cutting edge technologies like "vampire facials" (using your own blood to promote the healthy activity of your skin cells) or cryotherapy (using extreme cold to aid recovery from hard training)
At the time of Floyd's IV there was an IV drip popular with athletes and celebrities called a Myers Infusion. The main benefits of this IV is the efficiency with which the nutrients (high doses of Vitamin C, B6 and B12, as well as water soluble minerals such as magnesium are absorbed into the bloodstream). Some advocates of the Myers Infusion compare it to a shot of strong medicine or "the afterglow of a week long vacation"
In a sport where most top guys' philosophy is do anything you have to to win, I can easily see a fighter with Floyd's resources doing the IV on a regular basis and convincing himself it aint even cheating.

Floyd's IV wasn't illegal. It's really hard to take the haters seriously when they lie about such basic facts.

it is proven beyond a shadow of doubt. Floyd Mayweather is a PED cheat.

he was caught with an illegal needle in his arm. period.

it actually is cheating under wada and usada, especially the crazy amount he had pumped into him. why do you think he needed the retroactive tue to cover it up?

IVs are still banned under WADA guidelines because they can be used to “dilute or mask the presence of another substance"

three weeks after the fight, USADA granted Mayweather a retroactive the****utic use exemption to receive IV injections. USADA told the NSAC that Mayweather had not applied for the TUE until 18 days after the fight against Pacquiao.

thats so weird why would they do that?

Al Haymon, the Godfather of boxing, saw to it that the U.S. Anti Doping Agency was paid an extremely generous $150,000 for handling blood and urine testing for the fight. That’s approximately ten times the amount it would normally get. Mayweather’s own company handled the promotion and hired the testing agency for both fighters.

you putting the pieces together now? they paid them off so they would be allowed to cheat. he was not dehydrated as he claimed. thats absurd. he only had to drop 2 pounds. why do you think usada isn't used anymore and vada is? they might have made a lot more for this one fight but their reputation was destroyed because every boxer/promoter knows they will let you cheat if the moneys right

If it was legal he wouldn’t need a TUE. And the TUE itself broke regulation. Anyway, this horse has already decomposed into the earth.

                    correct.

Retroactive Exemption was unprecedented. This was basically the same as believing the official report that Epstein suicided himself.

                    it only points to corruption.

The other retroactive exemption was for

hollywood screenwriters can't make this chit up.
