Does it change the fact Canelo knocked him the fk out? No, he did so in very impressive fashion, dive or not. People need their narrative though. Can’t just be happy with he got his win impressively..it also needs to be versus a real threat which we all know..well those objectively who have seen the losing fighter the last few years isn’t the case.
Kov has looked a little weary in his fights in the last few years, but I didn't give Canelo much hope to KO him, going up 2 weight classes...I wouldn't have thought Canelo to be any better than Yarde at 175, tbh..and before the KO I don't think he really was.

It was a cherry pick of sorts. Too old to have fights against top fighters at Kov's age. It was a cash out of sorts but he didn't just lay down. Pretty close fight.
Something that is overlooked by us fans in the 2nd Ward fight was the perfectly set up and timed right hand that Ward landed. That punch finished Kovalev and lex to the finish.
It's safe to say Canelo hits harder than Ward regardless of the weight.
The true Krusher was seen for the last time vs Alvarez.
He was battering Alvarez and getting close to a stop but got caught.
Then the switch to Mcgirt, who is a HOF trainer, began the boxing and playing it smart but too safe.
Kovalev is a seek.and destroy, high volume, thudding, accumulative KO machine by design.
Best days are behind him but he still has that power.
Canelo has always been known for that adamantium chin.
That left hand that wobbled Kovalev was sneaky but that right that ended was just a thing of pure beauty.
Canelo is a truly special talent despite some questionable decisions.
But he's not the judges and the man's style both Golovkin fights, Jacob's, and Kovalev have been fan friendly styles and he stood right in the pocket.
I don't see anybody beating him right now
