Comments Thread For: Team Wallin: No Protest Planned For ESPN Informing Fury Corner

Otto Wallin raised his profile considerably following his impressive showing against Tyson Fury last month, and his team is currently sifting through his options to decide what's next for the young heavyweight. After losing a widely entertaining and closer than expected decision to Fury, the 6-5 Wallin will sit out the remainder of 2019 and take the next step of his suddenly intriguing career in early 2020, according to David Berlin, who co-manages the Swedish heavyweight with Zach Levin.

Will never understand why Wallin didn’t push harder to target the eye in that fight. The fight could have been stopped had he upped his output after that extremely nasty gash

Maybe he was told not to, just like Fury was told it was ruled from a punch.

I'm sure he does care, he's just not willing to make a big fuss about it. He's from Europe, trying to make it in the U.S. and he doesn't want to be screwed over by a MAJOR network. His team clearly stated the obvious in this article.

Wallin should have won but Fury held his own and had a right to know how the cut happened so the network did its job .

That was unprofessional by ESPN. Media standards are going downhill.

Whatever it was it cost him the fight. He had the look of a man who wasn’t sure he could last the distance so held back. Imagine what wilder or ortiz, Ruiz, etc would have done to that eye

LMFAO! The network was making sure he didn't suffer an embarrassing loss and ruin all the money they invested in him.
