Some fights you win at all costs and this was one of them. Maybe Gomache thought that if Wallin targeted the cut Fury would begin to anticipate and time Wallin but sometimes you need to throw the dice and risk it. What I don't understand is Gomache telling Wallin to counter over the top and peck at Fury, Fury's 4 inches taller then him your not going to simply counter over the top Fury.

He did target the eye, he even sc****d it with the laces of his gloves.

Wilder wouldn't be able to hit such a small target, he could barely hit a 6'9" fat gypsy.

Speaking of networks didn't Showtime protect wilder with a draw ?You laugh at the Fury fight but admit he won against Wilder ? This is what im talking about your fan base, no consistent logic at all, its literally non existant. Ha

Yes indeed it was. That's like having an extra man in the corner with the inside feed on what's going on.

Yeah that was some complete BS from Joe Tessitor and Bernardo Osuna

Tessitor exactly quote to Bernardo Osuna was "Go Tell Him (Ben Davison) That The Cut Was By A Punch" that should not be acceptable

Tessitor and Osuna should know better they been covering boxing for ESPN/ESPN2 Friday Night Fights for a long damn time to do something like that

The only controversy is why did Weeks give the corner misinformation and then never correct that misinformation.

Totally agree with this (for a change).

Looked like he gassed out to me. Nothing beyond rd 7 as I recall.

The plot thickens! Oh wait, the story is over. ESPN protected the Gypsy-Bum's '0'. Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder must be careful on a co-promotion with Toprank in charge, but you never know maybe ESPN is tired of this bum Tyson Fury and rather get rid of him.

Dude you are obviously just playing ******. I gave you how I scored the fight when watching it. I also agree that the card that had Wilder winning was bogus. Just because I fairly scored the fight for Fury doesn't mean he can run away and sign with TR during the negotiations for the rematch and not get called out on it. They are separate things.

The real problem is Brits like you want Wilder to be labeled a duck but don't want Fury to be labeled one. That is impossible.

There is another layer to this as well. You are mad that Wilder didn't take a deal that would place him on a card controlled by the opponents promoter, which would make it far more likely to get one of those terrible British scorecards. You guys are mad about the scoring of wilder/Fury-I get that- but Fury had to fight wilder in America because he is an ex drunk and drug addict that pissed away his title reign.

That fight was profitable beyond expectation (IMO because Fury sold the hell out of it) and now you guys want Fury to get the rematch in England to avoid another scoring debacle. No!! He is going to come back to the USA because US fans want to see the fight and we will help it generate more revenue than it would in England.

                      Sorry dude its just business.
