Wilder has achieved K.O % and multi title defenses by fighting SELECT weak opposition on purpose ,his real record is 2 and 1 when he stepped up .

That being said he'll get into the HOF bc the way the sport is run, and probably get in bf AJ who is a unified champion with by far more impressive wins but with WBC being shady and lesser guys have got in in the past so ? The list of HWs Vitali didn’t fight in his era is a lot longer than the guys he actually fought. Title defences against Sosnowski, Charr, Ed Mahone, Kevin Johnson, Danny Williams, etc... those are the type of fights Fury is getting ragged on & Vitali’s were title fights. Vitali’s best win is over Sam Peter or Adamek & that isn’t saying much. I could list the HWs he didn’t fight but I’m sure you can figure that out yourself. Arreola was a good win but most think he is a bum.

Let's see, Wilder has beaten one notable opponent in Ortiz, who is old as the hills but still dangerous and fought to a draw against his best opposition in a fat Fury. How does that equal HOF status?
Gone are the days when you had to beat the best in your division clearly to be considered one of the best of your era let alone all time. To call himself a HOF'er right now is an embarrassment to all the great heavyweights who fought the best opposition multiple times in their career like Louis, Marciano, Walcott, Charles, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Holyfield, Lewis, etc. etc.

Just because you KO all your opponents but one doesn't automatically give you entry into the HOF! That's the dumbest thing I've heard yet today. Lots of opponents have great looking records when they're fighting bums. A good 30 of those wins are over no hopers and the bulk of the remaining 11 wins were against huge underdogs. Wilder's record is a byproduct of the Mayweather era of taking fights that are low risk, high reward.
