He was hurt in the first and to the body in others. Another round Campbell had him going as well. But Lomachenko hurt Campbell a little bit more even knocking him down. Loma was tired late too, but he had a bit more in the tank than Campbell and didn't show it. When both fighters are tired, the one that shows he's less tired has the advantage because that's a confidence killer to his opponent.

It's not even that Loma wouldnt be good enough if he could add more muscle and keep his speed, but that's the problem, he already moves less at 135, you already see a more stationary target, less angles, less footwork. The muscle may already be slowing him down. You can only weigh down a small frame so much before it starts to move slower. Why didn't Floyd go to 160? Why didn't Pacquiao stay at 154? That's basically what Loma is doing. 135 is his 160/154 for those great fighters. Give him credit. I'd love to see him fight Josh Taylor one fight at 140 before going back down, since outside of the weight cut I think he and Campbell are similar level Taylor just has more power Campbell is more tricky and technical, but we'll see if it happens. 147 does not even enter my mind.

For reference Luke Campbell would be the longest most technical southpaw either Pacquiao or Floyd faced their entire careers. He's not an easy opponent. Campbell is the only boxer besides Lomachenko in Linares entire career to clearly outbox Linares on points for multiple rounds in a row. He is an excellent boxer and he would be world champ by now, easily, if his title shot had come against say Anthony Crolla instead of Linares and Loma.
... people forget that Luke Campbell is also an Olympic titlist!...

... and Luke is a big, strong, and skilled southpaw at 135...

... it seems that Loma's movement doesn't work so well vs southpaws (like him)...

What makes you think Teofimo definitely hits harder than Campbell? Teofimo has only knocked out bums. Campbell himself had a high KO%, knocking out 16 in 20 wins. They both knocked guys out at a similar rate, probably similar quality of opponents when they did score knockouts.

Lopez has sparred Campbell and said Campbell has a lot of power in his left hand.

Lomachenko looked human. He had moments where he got hit. Campbell hit him clean a few times and made some nice adjustments to The Matrix, forcing Lomachenko to dig deep several times. He still won the fight. Period. Not a soul is dis*****g it. Yet some posters are following that up with calls for him to stop "ducking" guys obviously out of his weight class, some and pointing to others who "might" catch him flush and "possibly" hurt him, and some are comparing him to Amir Freaking Khan????

Are boxers allowed to look human against really good boxers, which Campbell obviously is?

Not sure what some "boxing" fans on this site want. Would LOVE to have seen what people would have wrote about Ali after some of his fights if the web was a thing back then.

Loma moved pretty well against a bigger man. He was dominant 80% of the fight.

The bigger, stronger Olympic gold medalist had no answer for Loma. Even though Campbell had the reach advantage, Loma was great at controlling the distance and coming in to land shots on Luke, and then moving back out and around.

So you want him to take steroids, because he's not big enough? Why?

The fighters he's defeated are ****ty compared to Spence, Porter or Crawford, so, he needs to put on weight to 140 and , this will be the hard part....Talk trash on the mic to pump Spence up to take the bait. I know Loma doesn't like that neither does Usyk, but hey. If you tell them F you, f your mother, f your dog, etc, they'll be more inclined to drop down.

That's a pretty crappy analogy to backup your argument.. you decide to bring Khan's name into this out of nowhere? Lopez has the speed and accuracy to land a flush check lefthook on Loma Period.

It's obvious Lopez has more snap in his punches. Difference is Lopez has faster reflexes and better timing than Campbell

Mayweather was fighting at 106lbs as a 16 year old. 154lbs was his 11th weight class.

Because Khan is nowhere near as good as Loma. Has poor defense and a poor chin and he stays in the pocket too long

And... Maidana had the power, speed and accuracy to land a lot of hooks on Khan...

it seems like an even better analogy now.
