Too bad Campbell was off balance to follow the successful uppercut that he lands with a straight-left hand down the pipe onto Chenko's jaw, instead of on the crown.

Makes me wonder how this plays out with a orthodox fighter, who has a similar height and reach...like say DEVIN HANEY?

Luke had his glitch in 11th when he took a knee and another glitch in the 12th where grabbed Loma by the knees and held on for dear life. And losing basically every round was just another anomaly.

The fighters he's defeated are ****ty compared to Spence, Porter or Crawford, so, he needs to put on weight to 140 and , this will be the hard part....Talk trash on the mic to pump Spence up to take the bait. I know Loma doesn't like that neither does Usyk, but hey. If you tell them F you, f your mother, f your dog, etc, they'll be more inclined to drop down.

Since 16 years old, Loma has scaled the pro equivalent of 10 weight classes, which is more than Floyd, about the same as Pacquiao. You want him to do another two, up to 12?

It's not even that Loma wouldnt be good enough if he could add more muscle and keep his speed, but that's the problem, he already moves less at 135, you already see a more stationary target, less angles, less footwork. The muscle may already be slowing him down. You can only weigh down a small frame so much before it starts to move slower. Why didn't Floyd go to 160? Why didn't Pacquiao stay at 154? That's basically what Loma is doing. 135 is his 160/154 for those great fighters. Give him credit. I'd love to see him fight Josh Taylor one fight at 140 before going back down, since outside of the weight cut I think he and Campbell are similar level Taylor just has more power Campbell is more tricky and technical, but we'll see if it happens. 147 does not even enter my mind.

For reference Luke Campbell would be the longest most technical southpaw either Pacquiao or Floyd faced their entire careers. He's not an easy opponent. Campbell is the only boxer besides Lomachenko in Linares entire career to clearly outbox Linares on points for multiple rounds in a row. He is an excellent boxer and he would be world champ by now, easily, if his title shot had come against say Anthony Crolla instead of Linares and Loma.

From that awful camera angle it looks like that big uppercut hit Loma's left shoulder and missed his head. Anyone have a camera angle replay where we can actually see what happened?

I'm glad to see Loma give props to Campbell, because the judge's scores, although not technically that inaccurate, didn't tell the story of the fight. It was probably the best technical, chess-match type of fight that I've seen so far this year, and Campbell deserves to come away with a lot of credit for his effort. Of course Loma deserves a lot of kudos as well for how well he rose to the occasion. I think once his career is done he'll be looked back at the footage of his fights in the same way people look at footage of Ali, Leonard and Roy Jones at their best - he's just that good.

It’s a nice big up for Campbell really. He did well but the judges scores didn’t really reflect that. Not disagreeing with the score just one of them where he was competitive in most of the rounds but lost them.

It was like a high class amateur fight. Nip and tuck with Loma’s mesmeric footwork being the difference

Each separate round was close but Loma did more to grab almost all of them. That is why it looked close but score is wide. It just expirience to get close rounds. It really was competitive.

When is Loma going to fight top opposition? He's good enough to probably defeat Spence, he needs to call him out. He knows better than to call out Porter, that's a hard fight for anyone at that weight. 450 amateur fights to play around with non-top opposition? That's wild to me, cause he has extraterrestrial experience.

He's already fighting at or near his wall around weight so what makes you think he could put on an extra 12pounds of lean muscle to his frame just to get to 147.
Hes fighting a cpl of divisions above his weight now if you compare it to nearly every other fighter.

Spot on, I was there and was saying to my mate on the way out that the scores were wide. However being realisticwhat rounds did Campbell actually win? Maybe 2 but the others were all mostly damn close with Loma shading them.

Watch him duck the Matrix again as he knows he'll be tasting canvas if he ever found his balls and faced him.
