Why do people rate Canelo's resume so high, even relative to GGG's?

Yeah the opposition edge was probably slight for Canelo...but G was much more impressive in his wins over those guys so edge to GGG there...I don't really rate Trout as better than Monroe and I think their records bear that out...yeah Cotto looks good...but Trout lost every other fight he has been in...and that wasn't really Miguel Cotto he beat in my eyes...if Trout had done anything since then you would have a case he hasn't ya know.

Lol...dude...GBP was trying to make that Lemieux fight forever...he has always basically been the 2nd option now for the last 5 Canelo fights or so...Canelo just took a different path...either an easier fight (Fielding/Chavez/Smith) or more money (GGG twice)...or DAZN forcing his hand a bit (Jacobs).

Lara and Cotto were LEVELS above those flat-footed static scrubs

you really are clueless if you think that knocking out scrubs is better than beating genuine world-class fighters with a much higher ceiling

let's face it..... you are just another dumb casual-fan who thinks that a heavy-handed fighter knocking out scrubs is noteworthy

you clowns have no idea why Golovkin lost, which is hilarious

I wouldn't...would be a little embarrassing imo...idk if you're a big Mosley fan or something lol...he was definitely great...just not at that time and not at that weight...sorry if that bothers you idk lol...just stating pretty obvious things I think.

that fight happened at 154 you moron

Mosley absolutely would go 12 with Golovkin at 154

you are one of the most clueless casual-fans I have ever encountered on a boxing forum..... you have clearly never laced em up in your life, and you would not know a good fighter if he punched you in the face

like I have always said..... casual are clueless about styles/levels/weight

Idk I saw the same type of GGG vs Nelo as I always have...swarming, always using the jab, always scoring...it took him 8 rounds to KO Lemieux and Stevens...11 for Murray...so him not being able to KO a Canelo who was not really engaging in fight 1 is not really a slight imo.

But yeah I saw the same guy in GGG who was always scoring and winning rounds...he is just a tough matchup for anyone because he wins a lot of rounds clean with his activity and he is also hard to win clear rounds against because he can be defensively responsible when needed, and again he always scores every round...just an ATG fighter.

Oh so if Mosley drained GGG to 154 in GGG's first fight there... you think Mosley would have gone 12 rounds...maybe...good to know your opinion.

like I have always said..... casual are clueless about weight
So weight classes and when you face a guy matter...but Mosley at 40 years old and clearly shot...at 154 pounds...going 12 rounds with him...is somehow still a great win.

When just 1.5 years later Anthony Mundine stopped Mosey at 154 pounds...lol come on

Canelo stood right in front of Hypekin in the rematch

            RIGHT IN FRONT !!

            but..... nada

like I said earlier, only dumb casuals think that KO's are necessary in order to judge a good performance

Golovkin is clearly not an ATG..... and you are clearly not intelligent LMAO

it is common-sense..... you compare apples-with-apples

if you want to toss your hair (LMAO) and say..... Golovkin could have done such-and-such..... then Golovkin would have to fight Mosley at 154, same as Canelo did

again..... casual-fans know nothing about styles levels weight

insisting that Murray Lemieux are better wins than Lara Cotto and Trout..... was not your best work

being embarrassed in your Weisfeld thread was your best work

Yep Canelo fought much better in the 2nd fight and much braver I guess you could say...and still lost 8-4 on my card...and I can't really see a case for him getting more than 5 rounds...GGG had about 5 clear rounds in each fight...good fights though.

Yeah is clearly an ATG at MW with serious claims, like it or not, as the GOAT at MW...which is one of the premier divisions in boxing history...pretty impressive..

he is clearly an over-rated hypejob..... with an over-rated fanbase

Golovkins opponent selection was too timid..... which is why he has a shltty resume..... guys like Hagler had balls, they were real fighters

I doubt that Golovkin could have beaten Matthew Hatton LMAO

how can Vanes be a good win for Golovkin..... when he was inactive and coming off a loss?

how can Murray be a good win..... losing 3x since Golovkin?

how can Jacobs be a good win, losing to Canelo..... ?

how can Monroe be better than Trout..... when nobody had ever heard of Monroe, and he got outclassed by Saunders?

                      see how that works LMAO
